They gotta streamline the challenge stuff. I know its just extra ad revenue but it makes the game feel disjointed.

The whole concept is preposterous. A singular possession in basketball is virtually irrelevant and nonworthy of being challenged unless it's at the end of the quarter, half or game.

If on possession 10 at the 8 minute mark on the first quarter, the ball goes off the other teams foot and you don't get rewarded with the ball, who cares?

It's not just about the timing of the challenge but also who are the players involved. Like the one with Giannis, if that overturned charge call makes Giannis in foul trouble at the end, then it's worth it.

I saw that you can't use your challenge to bringing attention to a traveling. I wish you could. If I were an opposing coach of the Bucks, every game I'd hold my challenge until Giannis did one of his 3 step Euro's. Just to make him conscious when he does it.

Are we sure the Bucks are even that good?

They have Wes Matthews, Kyle Korver and George Hill as key guys for them.

Harden goes out with 4 fouls. Now people gonna see why so many people project the Rockets to be the top seed. The Rocket team is built for Westbrook.

They're good, but they are worst than last year. They'll kill all of the bad teams, especially in the regular season. But they'll ultimately fall in the playoffs again because they're 3 point shooters will get defended by the good teams in the playoffs.

Bill Simmons has abducted Kobblehead.

They're still pretty good and they'll route lesser teams. They just are worse as Lloyd said. Like last year, they do not scare me at all in the playoffs.

Although Harden and Giannis are different players stylistically the team construction feels similar with the team having a lot of shooters waiting for the star to score or get them an open shot with Houston having also the threat of Capella's alley oops. It is similar to a lot of Lebron teams also.

It is difficult to see these teams win a title unless there is a second high level creator on the team, i dont think Middleton or Westbrook are that player however.

They're still a very good team. Just have a boring system. Even more boring without Brogdon, which should tell you something because he's pretty boring.

And that's what drove the dismissive aspect of my line of questioning.

If you watch these NBA teams through the lens of "who can score in crunchtime in the halfcourt in playoff games" a lot of these teams can almost be written off right now (as ridiculous as that sounds).

Bucks, Sixers and Lakers seem like paper tigers, to me, with all these things in mind.

Giannis wasn't going to determine the outcome of this game on the offensive side of the ball, anyway.

Did you see him in the dunker spot essentially playing C?

This guy is such a weak ass talent when talking about APEX guys in the league.

I don't get how he's in the conversation for best player in the NBA.

The optionality of Brogdon, Middleton AND Bledsoe at the end of games gave the Bucks an unpredictability that made them tough to figure out. They seem significantly more simple this year.

Rockets are really gonna struggle to get consistent stops with these two in the backcourt along with Bledsoe having to play up

Bucks hitting a lot of setshots down the stretch. Must be nice being able to rely on execution within an offensive system. Budenholzer da bess.

I know you're in on this take early, but I thought both were pretty active tonight.

Who the hell is Daniel House Junior and why is he playing such a key role for the Rockets?
