Nate says of him:

McRae had a truly great pre-season shooting the ball -- he played 59 minutes in 3 games vs. NBA teams (sitting out the Bucks game) & scored 44 points on 30 shots & 1 FTA.
That's 30 points per 40 minutes at a .723 TS%. Other-worldly.
Overall, he really didn't contribute in any other way at all. Still... shoot like that & you don't need to do anything else!
OTOH, he'll have to contribute in other ways overall during the season, since there's no way he (or anyone!) can sustain that kind of shooting.
Jordan McRae is on the team. Off that pre-season he deserves to be on the team. He's earned his spot without a doubt.
Here's the question: has the day come for this late bloomer, who at 28 years of age has played a total of 912 minutes in 3 seasons in the league over the 5 years since being picked at the bottom of the draft in '14? Will Jordan McRae show that he is a solid rotation NBA player? Beginning tonight, we will find out.
