Unfortunately, this won't be happening:

But this will:

Can Booker lead us after the Ayton suspension? How do we replace the offensive paint production against a good perimeter defense? Does Diallo step up to the plate or do we run Kaminsky as backup 5?

It happens tonight, let's hope our guys show energy, and not something like this:

Now I'm not sure they have enough scoring to beat Denver but defensively I like baynes on jokic more than I would have liked Ayton in that match up.

They need kaminsky to have a big game from 3.

Baynes has to be careful with his fouls. On offense, I think it will have to be a great shooting night, if we want to have some hope.

DA did well against Jokic defensively in recent matchups, and he gives Jokic problem on the PNR. Not sure how Baynes will do. My guess is they will run a lot of PNR and DHO against Baynes/Booker. Baynes will give a solid 15 minutes or so. I am more concerned when he's on the bench.

I am curious as to how Daric will respond. This team desperately need him to do something.

Yeah they will have to hit like 20 3s.

I agree on the foul thing to a point but I'm not that concerned because I doubt baynes can physically play more than about 25 mins without having diminished results.

On the Ayton thing I should clarify that I wish he was playing to gain experience against a guy like jokic. But jokic is such a craft SOB he can give young bigs fits.

I think I saw yesterday that he was out. They really could use him back soon to be able to play some small ball lineups with Ayton out.

This is the chance to get Saric involved by running plays for him and I hope Cam will play tonight

Speaking of nuggets.
The other night I was in my room playing world of warcraft. My mom walked in with a plate, i look over and see the chicken nuggets. I slapped the plate out of her hand and watched it shatter on the floor "i said tendies you cow!" I screeched.

She was visibly shaken so I splashed my piss bottle at her as she began sobbing. "Why are you like this, you're 34.." I heard her ask as she walked towards the exit.

I threw my poop sock at her, leaving a dark stain on her shirt as she walked out the door.

A couple hours later the suns won and I had my tendies.

This game we need Booker to go off for 35+ and Saric/Oubre/Kaminsky to nail 9-12 3s for us to stay in the game. Also, play well defensively. I am asking too much for this team without Ayton, but just want to watch a competitive game even if we lose.

Jokic kind of moves around a lot...might be good to have someone more mobile, like, Ayton....on him.

The main weapon with Jokic though is his passing so the team just needs not to ball watch and to stick to their man because if anyone gets open, Jokic will find them for an easy basket.

The only thing that could help to some extent is the floor should be more spread offensively, since everyone can now hit the 3, possibly giving Booker and other guards more open paths to the basket. So our offense and shooting might get a lot better. If our guards get some easy lay ups early, they might get confident and start bombing and hitting 3s. Obviously Frank is a big dropoff from Ayton, but if bombing 3s it will be nice as well.

So our offense could open up. We are really going to have to crash the boards though. And they've got some tough guys in there like Millsap, Grant and Plumlee.
