i think my biggest problem with monk is that he doesn't work harder to get himself to the ball

martin, martin, graham, miles, bacon... all those guys will sprint to get the ball and bring it up the court

monk just kinda plays this weird halfcourt game

Tonight I remembered how much I dislike MKG'S game. He's doing his best to be as worthless as Nic Batum. Is this year 7?

Not blaming him for the loss (I didn't watch the game). Blaming him for being a shooter that can't shoot.

Difficult to get shots when you have the Martin's taking 12 shots in minutes.

They had a very very bad game. But I still like the intensity they bring on the floor every seconds. I just hope they'll improve, and learn when to attack the rim and when to calm the game.
They can really attack and draw some fouls, that's good we need that. Wait and see.

I was repulsed by what I saw from the twins. They look like they don't belong. And they're ball dominate while being overmatched. Disgusting.

5 points, 4 rebounds in 10 minutes? He's clearly been a disappointment but hardly Batum-like.

Playing twins is confusing... so much so that ESPN lists Caleb as "Unknown Player."Image

Against end-of-bench players in garbage time. He's more uncoordinated than Biz. And like Batum, the ball hates his hands. He's an iso player without iso skills. I can't believe he's lasted this long with the franchise. They held a junk stock to 0 and lost everything. He won't get another NBA contract. Just like Nic.

The fact that we played the Martin twins so much is proof that we're tanking. All of their shots should have gone to PJ, Monk, Bacon, Bridges, and Rozier.

That whole group is still developing. They're worth the investment because they're part of the future. I don't get it. Maybe JB just wanted his key players to rest once it was over. But I feel sorry for fans subjected to that embarrassment. So I guess this is our punishment for booing Nic? JB seems to recognize games where Monk's lack of confidence requires intervention. The twins took away touches from everyone. They really hogged the ball.

Wait, we're already headed out on a West Coast trip? Including LAL, LAC, and GSW?

Me neither.
The only problem is that I don't think they shoot well... Which is problematic having them both on the same time on the court.

Cody is long, and pass the ball relatively well.
Caleb can get to the rim, he needs to learn how to finish.

They are intriguing, and I agree, i don't understand the whole hate around them.

we need to draft centers for about 4 years straight until we can find one.

I’m still curious to see if Rozier plays better with Biz than he does Cody. It seemed that way to me during the preseason and again last night.

You know who this team is missing?

Ben Gordon.

With all these unforced mindless turn overs again and again and again he’d fit right in.

What happened to all the quick ball movement from the Bulls game? Seemed to be missing last night.

I find the twins interesting. Love their attack. They do need to reign it in a little though.

Speaking of twins - it feels like we have 3 sets of twins on the team.

The Martins
Bacon and Marv look the same during the game at a glance.
Miles and 3J look the same during the game at a glance.

Thank god we cut Thomas Welsh because he and Cody looked the same during the game at a glance as well.

Unfortunately I have not been able to see any of the games due to the Dish and Fox Regional Sports dispute but have looked at the boxscores. Since Batum is now out for several weeks (probably a good thing), it would be good to see MKG get a little more run to see if he has anything left in the tank (lol). He may actually work well with the young guys and maybe have some trade value if the hustling MKG returned from his pre 2nd contract days. Monk appears to be a wasted draft pick. I guess now we know why he fell to us in the draft.

with the team moving as fast it is, i'm not shocked to see that monk is having an adjustment period tbh

he's waiting for things to set up while every one is jumping right into things. considering he caught the most of clifford's attention as a young guy, its not surprising

also the martin twins really lucked into the perfect opportunity. they'd never get a chance to see so much time anywhere else in the league. its good that they're out here trying to make the most of it. hope we can pick up a young center with the same kind of energy

I'm not writing anyone off after two games, not even Monk although it is tempting. If these young guys look the same in March as they do right now it will be a concern. The only measure for success this season should be player development, the W/L record will not be pretty.

I didn't really mind the Twins getting some run, even if they didn't really achieve a whole lot. I still have no idea which one does what so they seemed a little redundant but I honestly have no idea.

I like our guards for the future. Obviously if we are lucky enough to get Edwards you take him, but Charlotte's biggest problem is no interior defense to speak of and the worst set of centers in the league. Once KAT was focused it was over. I think we can con Boston or Portland out of a first round pick for Cody, send WHG to Europe, and maybe get one of Sac's backup bigs for Marvin Williams. Go 26-56, get the top pick, and take Wiseman.
