Well it looks like any expectations we had prior to the season are well off.
Did the play prior to the AS break flatter this team?
I mean after the break we went 9-16. On three occasions we had a 3 game losing streak, including the last 3 games of the season, which obviously means the Kings have lost 8 straight RS games.
In that span there have been 1 major change and 1 constant.
Shump out and Barnes in and Fox playing hurt.
There are other factors of course, namely the roster changes (do the vets fit the culture we had going?) and coaching change.
The thing I’m not happy about with Luke is the fact he clearly doesn’t have an offensive scheme and the pace isn’t where it needs to be. On top of that he said our conditioning isn’t where it should be. Well then heads should roll if that’s the case.
Why isn’t anyone asking the tough questions on our start? It’s not acceptable to say we need patience to learn new systems etc when other teams have had more player turnover and a new coach and they have systems running well straight out of the gate, like they should.
