I did this two and one week ago. Niners are now at the point where they would be the first team in NFL history since 1960 to miss the playoffs after starting 7-0.

41 teams (minus the strike seasons) including these Niners have started 7-0. The average finish of those teams has been 13-3. 12 of the 40 have won SB/championship.

The worst any of those teams finished the regular season was 11-5. (The '74 St. Louis Cardinals went 10-4 in a 14 game season).

If they beat the Cardinals twice, the Seahawks once, and the Falcons/Packers/Ravens/Saints/Rams once, that's 11-5.

One of the only smaller problems I have with Tartt is that he's dropped too many the last couple years. He's a must keep though.

First thing that came to my mind when I read the part about Breida is that Juice also wanted to go back in to the game but wasn't allowed to as well.

I'm probably more guarded on developmental QBs than anyone, but with Beathard I would honestly take ANY pick I could get for him. I would expect a developmental type QB to be as functional or more so than Beathard has been/will be when paired with Shanahan.

I know THEY probably wouldn't move him for only a 7th...but I would. I'd probably get creative and create a whole list of players around the league I'd try and ask for as opposed to just a pick before taking the pick, though.

I'd easily rather have Jordan Matthews for the late season than him.

On another note, I am slightly surprised the Eagles haven't gone after him of late (unless they have and it didn't work for some reason).
