Meyes Leonard vs. Karl-Anthony Towns doesn't seem like a fair fight.

Side note, maybe it’s the uniform change but Chris Paul looks really fat.

Get with the times old man, it happened 3x just yesterday (Mil 1st, BOS 2nd, PHX, 2nd)

Pretty sure nobody will be stopping Towns this season, he's just that good on offense.

limbo wrote:Meh. I doubt the Warriors felt bad for the rest of the teams/players when they were cruising to the Finals every year. People had to watch Curry/Draymond showboat behind a historically stacked team for years. Curry shoulder shimmying, cocky dancing and 'no-look' threes, Draymond telling Durant they don't need him is ironic af now.

The shoe is finally on the other foot. If you are going to dish it as a frontrunner better believe you're gonna get it back when the tables turn. That's just sports.

Much more about this being a week into the season and people pretending we're at the ASB and the warriors are already out of the playoffs. Or that they're starting 2 guys who would be at the end of the bench on most NBA rosters. If they end up sucking, so be it, but we're literally 2 games in. I just hate hot take culture.

Karl-Anthony Towns vs any center right now isn't fair

Kyrie Irving has been absolutely balling through the first 3 games with the Nets.

You can’t be serious with this after all the **** the Warriors have talked over the last 5 years. If you’re gonna taunt and showboat when things are going your way you can’t expect people to just not retaliate. They deserve what’s coming to them.

Dr Spaceman wrote:Boy Rockets sold at the right time on Paul. He looks completely done as a creator. Can’t beat anyone and won’t go inside the paint at all even against this defense. Looks overweight too.

He’ll hit that mid range shot until he dies and he still brings positive value but boy he’s less than half the player he was in his first Rockets year.
Wonder what options that leaves the Lakers in terms of acquiring another creator.

As i said to a similar response, much more about this being a week into the season and people pretending we're at the ASB and the warriors are already out of the playoffs. I guess I just don’t see it as hot-takey what people are saying about the Warriors. On the General Board yes but does anyone take that seriously?

Multiple projection models had the Warriors out of the playoffs and many intelligent commentators felt the same. If this was the team with Durant and Iggy, then we’d be in hot take territory after 2 losses, but... it isn’t a surprise the Warriors are bad.

Do you honestly see a way this team is better than 27th on defense? Because I don’t think any team has ever made the playoffs with that kind of defense.

Cauley-Stein/Draymond + Looney should be enough to not have a Bottom 5 defense, unless the wings/guards are completely inept, which could totally be the case, lol.

The '18 Cavs had the 29th rated defense.

Well good. For those that think Curry is as good as lebron then here is a chance for him to prove it.

Very happy that Curry/Dray are finally getting exposed, some posters actually said these two clowns were the best duo in the NBA going into the season. Curry is either choking when he's on elite teams (16) or getting his ass handed to him when he's on weaker teams like this year. I kept telling people how Draymond gets the assists that are equal to what a grandma in a wheelchair is capable of (passing to curry Klay Durant) and look at him now. Maybe Klay can actually get some respect, it seems Curry's "gravity" doesn't work so well without him huh? Curry you gimmick player, most overrated top 25 ever guy by far.
