That Watt injury blows though, really puts a damper on the Texans playoff chances.

It sucks, especially for Watt.

I will gladly accept the Texans missing the playoffs if the Astros win the WS though.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Niners are the best team right now....well, them and the Saints. They play in a few weeks, but there is no reason for me to think the Niners slow down. Their defense must be as good as one has been in awhile, and I've seen a lot of football.

As for my team, the Chargers, wow, they are barely hanging on. They are 3-5, but now with the Chiefs at 5-3 and two games left, they are not completely out, but have no room for these bad losses, and frankly lucked out against the Bears (though they've had more than their share of bad luck this year and should have beaten Detroit, Houston and Tennessee).

If Okung can get back, and then more importantly Derwin James, it will help.

But they somehow have to get by Green Bay next week which won't be easy, and hope the Bears can beat KC...I think the Bears have a chance with Khalil Mack going against Matt Moore.

Of course then the Chargers play at the Raiders who look like no pushover and then KC, likely with Mahomes back, right before Derwin James returns.

Chargers are almost certainly out of it, but in the NFL I count no one out until they are offiically out. Anything can happen in the NFL and the Chargers have had some great runs, especially crushing the Cowboys last year, winning in KC and beating a healthy Pitt team down the stretch.

Afc is a sh*tshow, all but 4 teams have a realistic shot.

Curious to see how pats handle next 5 games, their offense hasn't been impressive and this is the only period they'll be challenged.

Monday Night Football has become a sideshow, I tried to watch it but as a Ravens fan I dislike The Steelers and Miami is horriawful, like it's blatant that they're tanking.

The trade deadline is going to be interesting, Philly made a move but for Avery who should help their lb core. I expect them to be in the thick of the Slay and Patrick Patterson talks
