Disagree completely on Jackie Brown. Gets a bad wrap. Hateful Eight, we’re on the same page.

As for The Boys. Holy ****. Just finished episode 5 and I’m hooked. Can’t stop watching.

Once Upon a Time tomorrow. Can’t wait.

I like Jackie brown a lot also......”acrossssss 1- hundred and 10th streeeeeet”.

I thought hateful 8 is by far his worst film, the story was good but I felt that even for a Tarantino film it was over the top and the dialogue which is his strong suit felt forced and was trying too hard.

As far as this one it was much better than hateful 8 and I enjoyed it a lot. Ending was funny as hell and classic Tarantino, the visuals during the movie really captured that 60s feel Brad Pitt was great as was DiCaprio.

The dialogue is why I hated Hateful Eight. Too much use of the N-word for me, considering there's only one black character in the movie. Kind of seeing what Spike Lee meant now

I agree with you about the dialog of The Hateful Eight. I'm no prude but it was just too much and I didn't like that movie in part because of it.

My fave Tarantino films are Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds. I liked Once Upon a Time in Hollywood a lot too, but I'm not sure yet where I rank it in the pantheon of Tarantino works.

Conner Henry was a Celtic.
Hence the pun.

If anyone noticed, Michelle Beadle is no longer host of NBA Countdown. And she is out at ESPN. Again.

Rachel Nichols takes over as primary basketball in-studio host and her show, The Jump, takes center-stage over NBA Countdown.

There had been some speculation that Paul Pierce's role on ESPN would be diminished but ESPN's release said he'll still have a big presence on the network.

Beadle was making $5 million a year? Wow. That is insane.

Absolutely bananas. Lol. It doesn’t crack my top 5 this year (it’s been an amazing year of film). However, Pattinson was just a slight drop off from Phoenix in terms of acting for 2019. He was that good. I knew the kid could act after his last 3-4 films, but this was way more than I could have expected from him.

I saw The Dead Don't Die a few weeks ago and was very underwhelmed. I thought Jim Jarmusch, Bill Murray, Adam Driver and the RZA in a zombie comedy movie would be a recipe for goodness but alas no. Started well enough but really never came together, and the breaking of the fourth wall was pretty lame and poorly done. Felt like the script needed another 10 drafts of something to build it into something better.

Did you see it? Yeah. Dialect was difficult at times. But still able to follow along easy enough.

Loved Good Time. Such a well done film. And Dano is amazing. He killed it in Prisoners.

As for Parasite, I’d mentioned it a few months ago when I saw a screener. It blew me away. Definitely my second favorite films of his behind Snowpiercer.

I did see it, I like it a lot. After a few minutes no problem understanding the dialect at all. Dafoe as well as Pattinson did a great job and it really was shot so well.

“The Batman” should be really good, it’s based off of at least in part by “the long Halloween” and multiple bad guys and more of a who-doneit batman film. I’m excited for it.

I saw Dolomite last night. It was aight. I assumed it was going to be a comedy due to the cast, but it's more of an autobiographic film. Still pretty good though.

Also, I just picked up the newest Call of Duty (domino effect - one buddy copped Sunday morning, and about 4-5 of us copped shortly after. FOMO is legit. Lol). If any of you game on PSN and want to hop online once in awhile, feel free to add me - PSN username is MixWagger.

So... Midsommar and Hereditary (so late on this) were both fun and festive.

Return to Boston Celtics
