I'm curious about this too. Both Justise and Nunn are really strong. That would be one hell of a task for Trae to take on and run the offense.

Hawks play the 76ers tonight. So they'll be on the 2nd night of a back to back.

If Jimmy is back they have no other option.

He had a domestic violence charges that got him kicked off the Illinois basketball team. He resurfaced in Oakland University as the 2nd scorer in the nation behind Trae Young however, he was a 5h year senior after he had to sit due to transfer rules. In essence, the NBA saw an older talented player with domestic violence charges to his name. That is why he went undrafted. He decided to sign with Golden State over Miami after last season's draft and played in their G-League team but the Heat kept an eye and did their diligence on his off court issues and signed him. What is more surprising to me is that Golden State dropped the ball on signing him to one of their two-way deals. I mean, he was really good in G-League play for them.

Yeah, far from a later bloomer too. Was a 4 star recruit and state champ at Simeon high school in Chicago alongside Jabari Parker.

At least when we were where the Warriors were and had to cut Pat Beverley, we didnt have those 2 way deals to get to keep a couple of young guys. Warriors just didnt think they had much.

Blitz em and trap Trae.. Send multiple bodies and press from the half court line.. Kinda like what Wade and Bron did to Linsanity. Shut him down before he gets into a rhythm.

Groin strains are pretty serious. Can’t rush back from that.

KO was chit against Minny but he’s important for us. We really can’t afford to lose another big body.

What, we can't get a confirmation that Butler is going to play? WTF There's absolutely no good reason for Waiters to miss this game. Hope KO is OK. DJJ has a body that could get hurt often. We gonna have to live with that. Hopefully he can stay away from anything serious. 20 point victory would be nice fellas. Lets get it!!

Butler will play. It’s a home game, he’ll definitely be available.

Dion would probably rather be listed as out than be on the bench getting a DNP. Not sure what’s going on with JJ, but somehow he still isn’t in “Heat shape” despite the fact training camp was like 3-4 weeks ago.

DJJ got that brittle body that’s gonna get banged up a lot the way he plays. Probably puts a ceiling on what you’re willing to pay him tbh.

We’ve found a lot of gems the past 2 years, but we need to be careful and not repeat history. If the price is too high on some of these guys, we need to cut bait and trust we can find other contributors the same way we found them. We can’t have another Tyler Johnson, Dion or JJ situation on our hands. It’s cap crippling.

I can forgive the Hassan one. We thought he was that dude. He wasn’t.
