I will forever wonder what a team with Bryant, Beal, Bonga, Wagner, Otto, Sato, Oubre, Brown, Hachimura could’ve done.

Stupid Wall contract

I don't believe the offense has any restrictions on "early shot-clock jacking", so long as the shot is a good shot. And a good shot is defined as a shot at the rim, a 3-pointer, or Beal or Hachimura taking a midrange pullup.

Nearly all of Isaiah's attempts were from 3 or at the rim, so there was no problem.

So 3-pointers are encouraged before there are any rebounders in-place? Some of those possessions he just ran down the court, stopped, and threw-up a 3-pointer instead of running the offense, that would get you pulled if you're a rookie.

Yes. 3's are fine with no rebounders in place. Nobody goes for offensive rebounds these days anyway. A semi-open look from 3-point range from anyone on the team who can shoot them is always a good shot. That's the thinking.

I don't fret the loss of Porter one bit. I'd love to have the ideal version of Porter, but that guy no longer exists. The Porter that exists now can't stay healthy.

I also wouldn't have wanted to pay all three of Oubre, Porter and Sato a combined $55M. Not when we have Brown and Hachimura in the rotation. Better to pay Bertans $7M than Porter $27M.

But it sure would have been nice to keep Sato and Oubre around. What's even more frustrating is that we absolutely could have kept one of those guys, even with our current salary scenario.

They could’ve atleast traded Oubre for some sort of asset, instead of half a season of Ariza’s dead body. Same with the Porter deal. How do you trade one of the better players in the NBA for nothing but expiring contracts.

Awful

Oh for crying out loud... Oubre wasn't "one of the better players in the NBA" when we traded him, & he isn't that now -- or he hasn't established that he is -- although, for sure, he has had an outstanding 90 minutes to start the season.

Ernie is gone. His adventure with Oubre was as bad as most of the other foolish moves he made. Move on.

I'm 95% sure he is referring to porter here (Who isn't exactly off to a hot start right now, neither Sato.. strange since they looked good in preseason I thought)

Ironically, Bobby Portis who the Wizards got along with Jabari Parker and exchange reporter; Portis destroyed Otto Porter and the Bulls tonight.

On the other hand, had we gotten an “exchange reporter” in the deal, we would have gotten SOMETHING

Portis is classic feast or famine, no way I'd pay him anywhere near what he was looking for.

How ironic that there will be two games played on Wednesday between Washington and Houston. Game 7 of the World Series and game number 4 for the Wizards.

People seem to ignore that his hip injuries are chronic. He's led the league in grimaces the last 2 seasons, so this ain't something that's going to magically go away. His PER after 4 games is 5.8. He's shooting under 30% from the field - like Sato. His stats are so bad that Sato's - which suck - are much better than Otto's.

Wiz get the better of the Bulls or Memphis 2nd rounder. It's going to be a high 2nd - it'll be a competition to see which team is worse.
