My whole point is that he's making improvements in areas he has been deficient in. Both his defense and passing have improved.
And ultimately, who cares? Kyrie has a ton of the same flaws. He still helped LeBron immensely in the postseason. Lavine could do the same for Joel or Giannis.
We're seeing Jamal Murray help Jokic on deep playoff runs. Same flaws. 
You need to pair great players with a multilevel scorer. Why are we acting like this is such a bad concept?
