Cody is really outplaying his contract (till he gets hurt again). I wish we had another competent big so we could afford to sell him off to a playoff team, but I really think he is an important steadying presence for the youngs. Been pleasantly surprised by the competitiveness this team has shown so far this season.

On offense, I think he needs to see the court better--where the defenders are, where his teammates are moving, the spacing on the court, the seams in the defense. A lot more time spent in the projector room would help.

I don't think you can teach court vision. And I don't think you can easily unlearn overconfidence. We have a real problem on our hands with Bacon taking from teammates and Monk not being ready.

Our schedule to start the season is pretty ridiculous

I agree with this, except I don't really see it as a problem. We suck and this whole year is about seeing how much guys suck and if they can grow into something worth hanging on to and building around.

I think it makes perfect sense to give guys like Bacon and Monk a lot of rope and just see what happens. The worst thing that happens is we develop bad habits, which will be on the coaching staff to correct, but otherwise we'll just lose games which is already the goal.

Didn't watch the game but at least we gave Monk some shots. No reason to be rolling the twins out this early.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs
