So your ankle isn't rooted any more? Good stuff.

I'm in the right lane, less than half a mile from my exit, going about 63 in a 55. Still, I'm not going fast enough for this jerk. He tailgates me as I enter the John Nolen exit ramp, which is a loop that drops down to a 25mph speed limit that I take at about 30 mph. He's still tailgating me, flashing his lights.
Finally, when we get off the ramp, he wraps his car into the next lane and flies. I'm guessing he was going 65 in a 35.
I shake my head and keep going. But deep down, I'm a bit amused. This is one of the areas that is often crawling with cops set up in speed traps.
Two miles later, I see the flashing red and blue lights. It's a squad car. He's pulled over that ****. And I cackled as i drove by.
Something like this has happened only two times in my life, but I remember them both clear as day because they were both wonderful.

We play poker while we bowl - so you take 1 card for a spare and 2 for a strike and try to make the best poker hand - and I got a royal flush. First time I've ever seen one of those in any version of poker I've played.
Also I lost $100 on the Pacers ML so thats keeping me grounded which is good.

Bumpers
I bowled in a league for 2 years. I was really really bad and bowled with house shoes and a house ball. Got the award for worst game(86 I think). Every once in a while, things would line up perfectly and I'd roll 200+ though. I'm not sure there's a game with bigger swings in crappiness.buckboy wrote:trwi7 wrote:buckboy wrote:Bowled for the first time in 10 years about 2 months ago. Had a 235 my 2nd game. Ha. Good call. No bumpers though. I think what it was was my wife and 15 year old daughter talking ****. I mopped the floor with 'em.
I used to bowl a fair amount and was terrible. Strange.
