I always feel the need to rub one out while watching Siakam highlights. We'll be seeing this on a nightly basis this season as the offense will be centered around him. Can't wait to see our boy in action this year :nod:

I think that Siakam"s SI rating anticipates that he will take another large step forward in 2019-20. He would have to take a nearly unprecedented step forward to become a top 5 player.

All-Star voting will preview his standing in the league.

I'm not normally the type of guy who likes to say I told you so. I'm much too humble and modest for that.

So far early in the season he has surpassed all expectations and has added new elements into his repertoire. Being a first option has been easier for him than expected getting points with ease. He's become such an amazing facilitator causing so much havoc that he find our guys for easy open looks like Vanvleet. At this rate he's already becoming a better first option for us than Kawhi was last year. Kawhi was kinda a ball stopper and wasn't that good of a playmaker. The brand of basketball we're playing is just beautiful. Another monster night, leading the league now in 30+pt games.

So far looking good though, don't see how anything will change all that much in his game moving forward. He's getting to the basket with ease despite getting triple teamed sometimes. He's becoming an even better shooter than he was last year now adding the 3 at the break in transition. He's literally unguardable. All that work he's putting in the offseason has come to fruition. Looking good looking good. Maybe first player to ever win back to back MIP? 8-)

Maybe because coaches are going to gameplan for him as go to guy?

Maybe because it wont be 80% of future lottery teams as opponents?

Maybe because he has a hot hand right now and he may cools off some? You know, sample size...

We shall see, it's not like teams aren't gameplanning for him as first option right now. The whole league knows about Siakam and his game. He's adding more to his game this year already. We'll see how things go but sometimes you don't need to be so hardheaded and just take your L.

So I probably won't have him this year as his statlines aren't consistently big enough (points league not category) to warrant spending a 3rd round pick, where he seems to be ranked/mocked. Siakam is just amazing. He just keeps adding stuff to his game every year. I remember watching the Celtics-Raptors game a few days ago, and was genuinely shocked when they showed that he already had 30 points at the start of the 4th qtr. He got those points so quietly and efficiently.
