I don't think I've ever smiled and laughed as much as I have after a favorite of mine passed away. Just thinking about his classic scenes from House Party to Boomerang to Friday along with his TV work. That dude was f*cking hilarious.

This has been stuck in my head all day:

F*** Marc Davis, f*** Tim Donaghy and f*** David Stern as a staff, record label and as a mothaf**kin crew......and if you wanna be down with Stern then F*** YOU TOO!!! Stu Jackson f*** you too.....all you mothaf**kas F*** YOU TOO!!!!

Genius is thrown around too much and waters down the value of the word. But Spoon was a comedy genius.

Anyone going to see the new Terminator? I skipped Genisys because I heard it was awful, but from what I can gather, this won't be part of that timeline?

The new one ignores everything that came after T2.

Watching the new season of Jack Ryan. As soon as I saw a caravan of black SUVs driving in Caracas, Venezuela I thought, "Oh those are gonna get blown up. Except Ryan's." And of course that happens.

Genisys was very wild. Really felt like an adolescent's Terminator fanfic.

Huh. That's dumb.

Maybe I'll see Parasite instead.

Just finished Legion. My favorite part was the rap battle between Hiphopopotamus and Rafi (from The League).

Watched ‘The King’ on Netflix last night. Besides a really solid performance by Timothée Chalamet it was well written by Joel Edgerton and David Michôd. I find English history fascinating (even though this was based very loosely on that as well as Shakespearean plays; a kind of mashup). The universal theme of the sins of the father passed onto the next generation are powerful to me (with a bit of a twist). I liked how they they explored how King Henry wrestles with that throughout the film. There were some good action sequences. A final battle scene that wasn’t too drawn out. One of the few Netflix films like that I truly enjoyed. Give it a shot if that’s your thing.

Jack Ryan was a nice, solid B-. If you liked the first season you'll get more of the same.

Wow. Talk about misreading the room.

Probably mention infinity stones or naked women on dragons if you want feedback.
