I like how the Twins logo is really big and the Sox is really small. Kind of gives you a sense of reality.

Wasn't on purpose, but it worked well.

Cold weather. The White Sox are pansies. Rain, snow, blizzard, sleet, below 0 temperatures, doesn't matter, the Twins still play their home games. :-)

We'll see about that in a few years. You guys think theres any chance the Sox did this because of their depleted bullpen?

OK, so I saw that in the past 2 years, Silva has given up more HRs than BBs. That can be good and bad. He doesn't walk anyone for when he gives up those homers, at least.

OK, I'm ready to call up Garza after 2 batters Silva has faced.

Silva pitched well. Our bullpen just gave up their first run of the year. TEARS! :-(

That was an ugly game. Sometimes our offense just doesn't show up.

As has been mentioned by countless newspapers, the scheduling this year is completely insane. Selig needs to re-evaluate his staff.

Silva seemed like he held it together with scotch tape and safety pins, but the final numbers looked good. I forgot how useful he can be.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Silva's at his best when he's not thinking. As soon as he starts thinking about what he's doing, it all goes to hell.

Maybe he needs to hang out with David Wells and get loaded before each game.

Johan was in late season form, that's awesome to see for his second start in April. Great game today.
