49ers have Elijah Lee and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles on their practice squad should they need another body if/when Kwon Alexander is ruled out (with Dre stepping in to start), though it should be said neither one played behind Kwon in preseason. That was LaRoy Reynolds, who they got rid of at final cuts. Al-Shaair could probably switch spots and be asked to do some of it, too, I'd think.

Either way, as I said earlier, Sean Payton (among others) will definitely have a heyday with the film from this one. Not that the 49ers aren't capable of identifying it, making corrections, and just flat out playing better overall down the road, but they've got a scary situation on their hands if they're going to be depleted even more so now.

Analytically 75%. Interesting. I wasn't checking what it was in the moment. That feels about right.

As negative as I've been about this team, I honestly was FAR more concerned about the injuries that were piling up during the entire game than the actual outcome of this one. If you remove the injuries, this one didn't make me sweat as much as I thought it might.

I had terrible feelings about the game itself like a lot of people did all day but that's just because I HATE Thursday Night Football. I wish they'd get rid of it and I've never wavered off that during the good and bad.
