Kwon's thing changes it considerably but as BAD as it was last night, keep in mind that nearly 40% of their rushing yards last night came on two plays.
The first on the first play of the game, which is a run that should be easier to identify and correct (man concepts). The second one was on a Kyler run where Ronald Blair lost contain and Tartt drifted too far inside and was slow to diagnose.
Just a really, really poor job of taking angles to the ball last night. As bad as that's been collectively in a while. That stuff you can correct easier than some other things going on in coverage.
The new problem they're going to have with Greenlaw is he didn't make a ton of plays going forward, on penetration, going forward. A lot of sideline stuff. Kwon will see it and go (for better and for the worse with what comes with that). Greenlaw has to be sharp, he has to see it early, and he has to GO. Greenlaw is always going to struggle with size (like a lot of guys on this defense) and with really laying into guys and then disengaging. Missed tackles/slips are a concern. How bad it will be will be how much can they get him to make plays in front of him to limit the damage.
Dre will flow to the ball, he'll make plays out on the range, and he'll chase you down (with the occasional missed tackle), but can they and can he get himself to see it EARLY and GO get it.
