The Alex Caruso highlight reel is looking pretty good two years in. Like Larry Nance good, but more clutch good.

I miss Nance. For some reason he's been my favorite of all of the young guys.

So this is how psychologically messed up these last 9 years have me:
6 seconds before end of regulation I’m starting to to try to find an old episode of Law and Order SVU because the game is over we lost.

Commercial over: Lebron finally gets the ball and dribbles toward the basket. Me screaming at the TV: we need a 3 JR Smith! Damm we lost.

Noticing Dwight’s illegal defense on Curry, we lost!

Green letting it fly, we are the Lakers we don’t make 3’s. We lost.

The ball goes in: silence for about 10 seconds

I look at my dog and ask “did that go in?”

Makes you really appreciate all the enormous games we've played in over the years. That's one of the best parts of winning a championship: The end result, of course, but in addition to winning a ton of regular season games, you're probably going to have four or five incredibly memorable battles in the playoffs along the way, if not more. Huge shots, clutch performances, etc etc. Compare that to a Hawks fan I work next to in his mid 20s, he's got virtually nothing.
