no real point in tanking either as we do not have a 1st round pick the upcoming draft. This is going to get ugly folks

Yep. This year we might as well call them the Brooklyn Bears. The team sucks and we don't own our 1st round pick. 3rd rounder on top of that too

Gruden, he was bullied pretty bad by the media etc. Which comes with the territory, yet for Chicago media and fans thinking somehow that OUR FO people knew what they are doing generally, well, they probably don't. The logic of Mack deal was always built on the assumption that Trubisky and Nagy were for real. But at the time Mack deal was made, it always felt like a real gutsy if not desperate move by Pace to self-validate his previous work.

Nice route by gabriel. Thats what i mean by a quarterback cant overthrow a good wide receiver.
He broke off his route a bit and just got vertical to get to the ball.

They had one drive there, that resembled real offense! So they got that going for them. Which is nice.

This team could really really use a tight end. Tough to watch these teams use those against the Bears.

Shaheen is another Pace mistake. I’m done watching Bears football this season.

I recall Bleacher Report predicting an 8-8 season to contempt and hate mail. Such is journalism, put yourself out there, take abuse like few workers receive, get no credit if you are right, and the pay is bad. Then the President trashes your occupation.

That sucks. Not as bad as being a Bears fans, but it is bad.

It also matters the basis of their predictions

I know right!?!? As soon as they can grown a set and bench him, then guys will start catching catchable footballs and stop committing dumb penalties. It should also help our D stop teams on third down too. So for the love of everything that’s holy and good....PLEASE bench Mitch!!! Everyone knows that he is the alpha and the omega of ALL things wrong with the Bears.........

Yea that is the major question, we have to produce on offense allowing our defense a breather or two. All of these three and outs weighs heavily on our defensive efforts. Does not take a genius to see that Nagy has no confidence in Trubisky's playmaking ability or he would not run the ball as much. Trubisky threw for nine yards in the first half?

We will not get a QB via the draft, our QB search will start with Free Agency and or trade talks in the offseason as we missed the deadline. Trubisky's future is not at starting QB for the Bears, the sooner they can admit that the quicker we can identify a real QB to help salvage our team for next season.

Gruden does NOT have a good history of the draft. If you give Gruden ten first rd picks, he'll probably screw up on at least 7 of them. iow, I don't see Oakland doing much with the picks they got from the Bears. On the other hand, the Bears NOT having a first rd pick might be a blessing. Can't blow it if you don't have a pick.

LOL, I honestly think this is Pace forcing Nagy to play him, but as you can see Nagy refuses to allow Trubisky to throw the ball as he has no confidence in his passing ability.

Obviously, this sucks and the season is toast.

If Trubisky fails so do Nagy and Pace. The Bears can't afford to have Trubisky be a bust and he doesn't have to be IMO. Nagy needs to let go of "his offense" and run an offense that Trubisky can run. This seems to be the I formation that Nagy hates.

Time for Nagy to stop worrying about style points and start worrying about what works.
