The Rockets must have had a great time last night in Miami...Early Sunday start in Miami is an absolute trap.

I had them in that 5-8 seed range. They still might end up there but they look better than I thought. The Grizz were the best team in the West through 20 games last year though so things can change quickly.

They have a good mix of players on their roster. Lot of athleticism at multiple positions. Tons of shooting. A number of ball handlers. They could stand to upgrade their front court so they only have one of Leonard or Olynk playing, but they aren’t an easy out.

Sorry Max.

Good coach, good system and added a top 20 player. Only one of the 5 actual good teams in the east so even if they're not *this* good they'll be a good chance for a top 4 seed.

Memphis were 6th in the west after 20 games btw.

Not sure how you leave off Mo Williams

Skimming the list, the other all "How did he make an all-star game" team candidate is probably Josh Howard

Others: Jameer Nelson, Ratliff, Anthony Mason

None of these guys compare to James Donaldson.

I’m a big Kawhi stan but he’s pretty clearly the best player in the NBA right now. I love Giannis but Kawhi’s ability to take over games the way he does is without peer in the NBA as of now.

Donovan "one hand only" Mitchell was better than Kawhi.

I was paying attention to him last year and thought he was just a guy. Like a good player, but not top 5. Im sure I posted about this too.

So, so, so wrong. He's just a total jet. Clear MVP.

Winner's bias. Does about half the work of Giannis or Lebron. If Fred the dwarf didn't go god mode nobody on the planet would think he was the best player in the world.

This sounds so bitter lol.

Kawhi being a willing passer and playmaker now has almost made him the perfect player.

I guess if you pretend he's still the defender he was 4 or so years ago he's your perfect player. He's not he primary playmaker, rebounder, defender etc on his team. He's a more efficient worse passing Kobe. Hell of a player, very skilled, doesn't have to and doesn't play near the size of role of the guys I mentioned. :dontknow:
