What I would do is look for some sort of identifying tag on either the front or rear bumper of the offending vehicle.

Right, but if I lived in California my whole life and then moved to Wisconsin and have Wisconsin tags...? I'm now a "Wisconsin driver" even though I've driven my whole life in California. Also, rental cars.

Gotta give huge thanks for the recommendations. The first day we did brunch at Oddfellows, walked up and down Pike/Pine corridor and then did the Space Needle to say we did. Yesterday we did Rattlesnake Ledge (the wife powered through it even though it was hard for her, super proud of her!). Stopped at Taco Chukis for a late lunch, went to Rachel’s Ginger Beer and hopped from bar to bar until our reservation at Spinasse. Holy crap, Spinasse was incredible. Best Italian I’ve ever had. Today we’re doing Pike Place Market as it should be slower! Thanks again man! We’ve been having an awesome time!

You hit some awesome places, well done! Oddfellows was the first place I ever went to after relocating here, and Rachel's Ginger Beer is always requested by my inlaws every time they visit from the midwest. Tacos Chukis is an absolute hidden gem, I'm really glad you liked Spinasse as well. I lived in Capitol Hill right off the Pike/Pine corridor until last year, but I get winsome for it every time that I drive through.

Hope you enjoy the market!

Hm.

In that case, I'd go with the license tag.

Which is dumb given there are a lot of people like me out there. I learned how to drive and have driven in Alabama for almost all of my life. I now live in Minnesota and have been driving here just over a year. If people see me doing something dumb on the road, they see my Minnesota tag and think "People in Minnesota can't drive!"

Also most of the people on here probably have driven most of their lives in Wisconsin, so most of the dumb things they have seen and remember will have been in Wisconsin. Something tells me had most of you guys complaining about Wisconsin drivers grew up in say....Missouri, you'd be saying "Missouri drivers are the worst". There isn't something about any particular state that makes its drivers way worse than any other state. There are people in every state that swear up and down that they have the worst drivers.

Sample sizes/percentages. I would guess 90% of the drivers at any given time are from the state. If you are basing your experience on 1 driver, it isn't an adequate sample size. If its 5-10 drivers, than most of them are from that state.

Chicago (commuters) are about as bad as it gets around the midwest, keep both hands on the wheel because the person next to you is driving 75 and three feet away and texting.

There are pockets of inner city Milwaukee that are essentially the wild west (of traffic violations). There are a few insurance companies that will increase your rate if you use Capital Drive, for example. When I lived northwest of Marquette, it was not that unordinary to see a middle school kid out for a joy ride, someone from another country probably driving for the first time, or a police chase. But most Wisconsonites won’t ever drive through those pockets. These days, just north of Madison, my worst driving complaints are getting stuck behind a manure spreader.

Frankly I don’t ever complain about traffic around here, after a few international business trips. In Ethiopia, it is not that unusual to have your driver wildly swerve around a few cows in the highway. If I told you what I have seen in Manilla you probably would not believe me. Its like what I said about Chicago commuters, but with three people to a motorbike and triple the motorists.

BRB starting a thread discussing how awful the drivers are in a certain region and using it as a portal to share my thoughts on Kevin Harlan and the subscription model of digital publishing.

Yeah for the north side of Milwaukee, they have no idea how to solve the issue. They are trying to push through an addendum to allow cameras on certain traffic signals but that won't solve the issue whatsoever. The majority of these offenders have no license plate to begin with and by the shape of their cars, they don't have money to pay the fines.

Take solace that the main difference between you, dear realgm dot com poster, and your garden variety hedge fund operator is portfolio size.

But surely Chonestown, this cannot apply to Milwaukee Bucks ownership, can it?

Dear poster, indeed, it can.

I have that option. Some weeks it works out, others it doesn't. But I like it. Especially in summer.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Just found out about the AT&T throttling settlement. Dope.

Always thought that was some BS.

They pissed me off this week too for cancelling an order I made due to inventory.

It looks like some of the Deadspin writers have had articles posted on other sites this week.

I can't (won't?) use shift when typing. Instead, when I need to capitalize a letter, I turn Caps Lock on, type the letter, and then turn it off and continue typing. I thought this was relatively normal behavior. Am I certifiably insane?

Drew's not willing to call that guy insane but I am. That guy's **** insane.
