Spacing is extremely important in today's NBA, without it you have to grind yourself to death each game to try to accumulate some wins and in the playoffs every team is playing as hard as you. That's when reality hits you in the face.

I understand Defense is very important, but not when your offense as a player is so inefficient and you are sharing the floor with another player like Bam who relies on cuts, hustle and fast break points to get most of his offense. That's 2 players on the floor at the same time allowing defenders to close the gaps making it tougher for players like Butler and Dunn to score. With Duncan Robinson players have to stay honest or pay the price. We can't say the same about Winslow at this point.

As of right now, I think it is better for Duncan to come off the bench. I understand your point skill set wise. But I think I think as of right now, starting is too much pressure for Duncan to handle. He just starting to settle in and have confidence and not looking star struck. He has improved offensively and defensively. It also may be easier to hide him defensively bringing him off the bench. Spo seems to better handle on who he matches him up against by bringing him off the bench. The starting lineup of Bam, Butler, Nunn and Winslow may be good at starting a defensive tone for the game and for running

I'm not trading Jones Jr. Our depth is a major strength and could possibly propel to us to the 1 seed if this thing can keep rolling. This here Eastern Conference is wide open, and we need all the depth possible. If you lose him in free agency, so be it. See how it plays out. You have his bird rights, so there's always the option of a potential sign and trade scenarios as well. Keep it open. There's only going to be like 4 or 5 teams with significant cap space this summer anyhow. Half the league is pressed right up against the luxury tax line too.

Espn Kellerman just said that Miami with all the good weather and how the team is looking might be a destination for top free agents. The national sports media is starting to pay attention to us again boys. We coming back

The larger sample size (last season compared to 4 games this season) points to Winslow being a much better player at PG and that he is capable of being efficient on an increased amount of shots. The past two seasons he has been a 38% 3-point shooter. He was a huge reason we won our home opener against Memphis (27 points on 48% shooting) and Milwaukee (defense against Middleton, 13 rebounds, 7 assists). He's played a total of 15 minutes with Butler, who is our best player. Give it some time.

For as many missed 3's/layups I've seen from Winslow this season, I've seen as many examples of better touch around the rim on contact layups, and he's even added a post game against smaller opponents (he's even hit a couple of those DWade-esque turnaround jumpers this season). He has done everything minus scoring well, and even scoring-wise we've seen flashes. Just chill and enjoy, we are #1 for the time being. Winslow is a big part of that, as is pretty much everyone else on the roster. We are young, deep, and the players we have (with the exception of Dion) are embodiments of the culture. It's a good time to be a Heat fan!

fair point, maybe we can get him for a bargain. But if Dion acts up and we have to go nuclear, DJJ might be the casualty they have to attach.

Lol Riley and Spo are not worried about Dion Waiters. He has no power or say over anything. He's gotten that picture very clearly.

This is how I like discussing ball. Not taking things personal and just debating objectively. No one is hating or looking for a boogieman like someone else suggested, we are trying to figure this thing out as fans. Why? because we see this team actually has a chance to do some special things this season.

I get your point, maybe we need more time to be able to draw a definitive conclusion on what's the best approach with Winslow moving forward. I hope there is a good reason why Spo is doing what he is doing. He is the one watching these players everyday in practice. Maybe his patient through the process will end up paying off. I'll stay open minded and wait a little longer, at least I'll try lol.

I get it that people say South Florida fans are bandwagoners and that is true for many. But last season was painful for even the most dedicated Heat fans. Just wasn’t an interesting team to watch.

I for one am excited about the games this week. 3 road games against western conference teams that have been playing pretty good, Jokic should be a handful
