Cam Johnson is playing 12 mpg as PF. Those will be Kaminsky's to lose, which he may if he keeps shooting like that.

I think they will try to work Ayton back in slowly in order to keep the present chemistry. Look for Ayton to come off the bench for a few games until he and the team acclimate.

As bad as Kaminsky shooting has been the last two games.. we really need him while Ayton is out.. hell, once Aytons back and we get an opportunity we should probably give Baynes a game or two off.. Baynes is sacrificing his body out there. We need to get Kaminsky his confidence back, his playmaking has still been great.

Even though Frank shot poorly he does a great job drawing fouls which the rest of the team hasn’t really been able to do. Last night he helped get us to the bonus and slowed the game down which allowed the starters to get more rest and tempered Philly’s aggressiveness.

Unrelated but Monty’s defensive schemes were great last night. Baynes on Simmons and Booker on Richardson were especially effective.

Ayton might come off the bench for one game, but I can't imagine more than that. Monty will want to get us rolling with our regular rotation. The questions I have are, given how much success we've had with Baynes, how much will he eat into Ayton's minutes? And can we put the two on the floor together for stretches?

Baynes is playing great but Ayton was borderline dominant vs the kings

Yup, they will need to give baynes a little rest once Ayton is back to preserve him for the long haul. He's 32 and has never played this heavy of minutes so they need to be careful.

I know James said they won’t fill it - and Diallo could play garbage minutes but if you can sign a guy - why not just to not overplay Baynes . And because you can

I'm not opposed to adding depth but I don't theres a big on the street that you could bring in and would deserve rotation minutes. Baynes current load is fine especially considering you know you can back it off once Ayton comes back.

I think Diallo is better than whoever is available as a FA. So why try to integrate another player when you have already a defensive minded C playing cero minutes per game and healthy on the bench?

Rachel Nichols has always hated the Suns and Booker:

Now she's forced to talk about us (still as unfunny and unoriginal as ever, tho)

Honestly not too worried about Frank. He's played better defense and rebounded better than I expected of him so far, and he doesn't make a lot of stupid plays. He's not going to shoot 18% from 3 all season, the lid will be off the basket soon. Hopefully he figures out how to not travel every time he tries to drive out of the mid-post too.

Saric is kind of in the same boat for me. He's exceeded expectations on the defensive end, and Philly knows his game just like Monty knew how to bother Simmons. Not in love with his post game so far, but hopefully he starts to get a few of those to fall his way. Definitely not a picture perfect shot either. He's a fairly versatile player on offense though, especially if he can start getting his short shots to fall more consistently. I do expect him to find his fit more and more as the season progresses though.

Yeah, we've played 7 games, 4 against UTA, DEN, LAC and PHI, and people were very high on Frank early and high on Dario after a few games, and then after a couple games, Frank hasn't suddenly lost the skills we saw. People will have ups and downs. He's shown he's a smart player. Sometimes he didn't take the open shot at times, but the bad thing is, if you''re not feeling it, chances are not good that you will make that shot if you do take it, if not simply for the fact because you are thinking you probably won't make it because you are not feeling it.

Now players can't play with that in their head, and have to get to where they let it fly when they have those open shots, but for whatever reason, 2-3 of our players have had that at times this season. But unless it's a trend that happens for 5+ games, I wouldn't be too concerned

Hide this post from Frank, he must not see this or else he'll lose his mind. ;)
