Steph
Klay
PasGod(flourishes and becomes the starting sf)
Draymond
WCS(He works out and we sign him for the MLE, Plus I can't think of too many other Cs going at this rate.)

DLO(yes, I know the chances of him wanting to stay as a backup pg is slim, but this is Burger King and I want it my way)
Looney
Deni Avdija(Draft Pick for an sf)
Poole
Iguodala(vet.minimum)
Spellman
Evans
Bowman(signed to a two year deal)
Rudy Gay(TPE)
Smailagic

Steph
Klay
PasGod - a new fav nickname for him
Dray
Smiley - (when healthy he will destroy the league and by end of year become co-rookie of the year with PasGod)

Dlo, Looney, Wiseman, Iguodala, Poole primaries off the bench.

As we go 16-0 in the playoffs, we congratulate the league on ending the dynasty.

Jokes aside, I think Smailagic has potential to be the starting C. He has that same fighter mentality that PasGod, Bowman, and Poole seem to have.

RoCo or another quality wing player for Dlo.
Then draft a wing or if not a skilled center and try too keep WCS.
Use Tpe/mle for a quality backup guard.
Steph-Klay-RoCo-Dray-Looney-Paschall-Backup guard-Draft-WCS (the rest is not that important).
Paschall-Green-RoCo can play 30 minutes each.
The management will have plenty of room to operate. It will be difficult not to form a championship caliber team.

I would be against using the TPE and MLE for a backup guard for a few reasons:

There isn't any backup point guard that we will be able to use our TPE for next season other than Elfrid Payton(8m) from the Knicks.

As for the MLE, unless we want to use it on Jeff Teague, I don't see any good options. I was thinking maybe Dragic for the MLE, but I think he'll still command a decent contract next summer.

So our options for a backup pg is either:

- Stick with DLO.
- Trade DLO+1RP for Giannis and maybe use the TPE to absorb Bledsoe's contract as an incentive for the Bucks.
- Hope Ky Bowman and Jacob Evans works out.
- Draft a pg.

The TPE and MLE should really be used for an SF and a Center.

In any case I see Dlo as high risk low reward guy especially in Kerr's system. If Dlo+Tpe+Pick+Mle can be converted into an above average starting sf+ a backup guard (could be the pick)+WCS+ another wing then it is a terrific roster. Very deep and versatile with a superstar. As for Giannis, unless there is a sign from his side that he wants to join the Warriors, I would ship Dlo for other pieces immediately. His contract is really scary.

Regarding DLO's contract being scary....not really. He's going to put up the numbers and be very tradeable. Plus, at the end of the day, DLO was acquired when the options were him or nothing. Because of that, the only thing being risked is the owners' money. And as we all know, they do not have any problem spending it.

But yeah, it's going to be interesting to see what they do with DLO if it becomes clear he just does not fit in this system and can be put in a better situation somewhere else.

You're allowed to dream bigger, man. Where is DLO and if he's not on the team, who did we trade him for? Hahaha.

It'll be more useful to discuss D'lo's trade value on Dec 15th when he becomes trade eligible.

I feel like the Knicks might be another team that could have interest in Russell.

So for me Paschall has already solidified the small forward spot for next year. And between he and Draymond, they will switch things seemlessly.

So when I think of need, it moves back to center for me. So Wiseman would be amazing, but I don't think we'll have a shot at him. But even with Paschall playing great we will still be in need of a wing. The type of wings I'm looking for are the 6'9" types, long wingspan types.

So for the best team I can put on the floor next year, without making any moves at all is;

Curry
Klay
Paschall
Draymond
Looney

That's pretty good right there, even if Looney isn't the prototypical center.

I'm not going to list wishes, because I'd want the absolute best players available in my dream scenarios.

But realistically I want a proven player depth situation for Russell. In a perfect world we get a star back, but I'm under no illusion that it's even possible.

I would not trade our draft pick unless something comes up right before, or on draft day, when it has most value. Or just keep it if the player we wants is there.

The TPE is icing on the cake. I have no realistic idea who we can get with it, but it will be clear at the end of the year.

For the MLE I want to look at the best defensive center we can find. I want a center who can direct the defense like Bogut did. Or something of that vein.

For the MLE, I just don't see it. I was hoping to find a solid center with the TPE, but again, just nothing in the market we want. It's the reason I'm hoping either WCS works out and is willing to take the MLE for a multi-year deal, or Smailagic turns out to be a gem. Warriors scouting him for years has to account for something.

I love Paschall but let's see how he handles guarding good SFs and how reliable his shooting will be first.

I've seen enough. Unless we bring in another legit small forward, I'm good with Paschall. And I've said that prior to the outburst the other night.
