Put on injured reserve.
Next season he’s due $19 million, the last year of a 5-year deal.
But if they cut him it’s only a $2million hit.
He’s 30 and he hasn’t put up the same results when he got that contract in 2015.

Chicago Bears would welcome him with open arms.

I've seen more than a few articles that put him there next season "if everything works out", in other words if the money is right. I kind of doubt they get their moneys worth but you never know. He might be what's missing with the Bears.

He is 100% done in Carolina. He is a clear upgrade over Trubisky but not at 20+ Million/year.

The GM's job hinges on Trubisky succeeding since he muffed his first 1st round pick and hasn't really struck gold with the others, although he still loses additional draft picks by trading up almost every year, which are already in short supply with the Khalil Mack trade.
The HC's job also basically hinges on Trubisky succeeding since their offense has been bad this year and their defense isn't the same as last year.
But if you mean the Chicago Bears fans welcoming him with open arms, I'd agree with that if he's healthy.

Re: Cam done in Carolina?
But Bears have to pay Trubitsky over $9 million next season regardless.
So a big QB signing may not be feasible.

Might as well go to the Bears. Bills, Denver, Chargers could use him too. Rivers is washed.

He has had one great year and has been mediocre every other. Kyle Allen is a cheaper just as good option. That is CMC's team.
