I'm so ready for Kanter to go away. I have a feeling he isn't going to be happy being behind Theis and the Williams sisters in the pecking order, but that's where he deserves to be on merit when you factor in fit with the team.

He could be useful once we run into real paint beef again.

I think our team speed with Theis and RWill has been great against slow perimeter bigs like Gasol and Bropez. But Kanter's baggage starts to look less onerous when guys like Drummond are chewing up our skinny little guys on the glass.

he played 1 game. 25 mins, 12pts, 6 rebounds against the best big man playing.

Kanter will rarely disappoint on the box score.

Our best antidote to matchups with real beef on the court? Run. Kanter isn't going to help there.

I don't mind him as a matchups guy, don't get me wrong. But is he ok with that is the question.

There's No News out there about Tommy Heinsohn. Celtics always keeps that hush hush, for some reason.

I currently have had mono for the past two months and it's been a nightmare...I really hope Brown doesn't have something similar. It gets weird when they don't say what the illness is after a week or so.....makes me nervous.

Tommy's 85 years old and smoked a ton. I'm fine with the organization deciding they don't need to tell us anything specific about his health -- it's turned into a many-year grace period to keep him involved as much as he can be, on what seems a week-to-week (if not day-to-day) basis.

I'm glad we've ended up with Scal. He's 1/100,000,000th the player, coach, and Celtic that Tommy is, but he's kind of a 21st century approximation of his energy and style, and has developed some chemistry with the best that's ever done it (Mike Gorman).

What is actually wrong with JB? He’s been sick for a while now it must be something serious.

Looks like his illness was exacerated with the addition of an infection.
If I had to guess, I'd say that he had a cold or the flu, and then got pneumonia from the built up fluids, on top of that.

That would make sense if he was coughing a lot at his press conference. I’m guessing he had a stomach bug but then got a skin infection ie. cellulitis like we’ve seen players get from time to time. That would explain why he seemed perfectly well at his presser.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Uhhh, on merit alone? Theis MAYBE for P&R defensively, but Williams offensively (either one) ain't it just yet. Sorry, I dunno if you just don't like Kanter, but Theis/Williamses at the 5 isn't enough to justify having Kanter "go away". It's not like Kanter blew defensively against Embiid of all people lol. Now, if Kanter can't stay healthy, maybe then we think of moving on, but doing away with him after 5 games?
