I am fine with players resting well into the season but 7 games in and the Clippers haven't played since Sunday?

This sucks,i was really excited for the game.Oh well.

Yes he can, and he will. Just how entitled are you? So because fans pay money to see him he's required to play every game? Maybe he should also come to their houses and sign their jerseys too? Lmao

Yes. It's known as working for your customer/client. Every other person does so! How effin entitled is he?

Again.....82 regular season games are a joke. Way too much. Around 62 are fine. You could erase every b2b easily.

But of course no one is going to do this because of the revenue.

Plane the amount of games and not the player.

Disclaimer. Load management requires Lebron leave your conference. Freak injuries to two other BMFs. Batteries not included. Other exclusions may apply.

Suppose you have a son that is 10-15 years old maybe. He loves the NBA and Kawhi is his favorite player. You live in Chicago. Your son's favorite player comes to town once a year. Decent tickets, even just two, will run you atleast a couple of hundred bucks by the time you commute and park, etc.
The day before the game, it is announced that Kawhi is going to be out. Not because of injury, no !! He is just saving himself for more important games.

How pissed off are you going to be? What will be the impression left on your child??

I'm not the one paying him millions, so I dont care at all... good on him if he wins another championship though.

At the very least it seems like he's only sitting for b2b games now which wasn't the case in Toronto, although it's still early so we'll see.

As a Raps fan I'll attest to the fact that the regular season was extremely frustrating with Kawhi but once the playoffs began it was hard to stay mad for obvious reasons. So focus on the long game, Clippers fans, it'll be worth it in the end. Plus, you've got another MVP level player coming back soon so I wouldn't sweat it.

Kawhi is unusually fragile. His body needs breaks to rest and recover. If you force him to play every game you will be risking major injury and shorten his career considerably.

Why don't they just play limited minutes? Are they more worried about their averages? If players can't play 10-20 minutes on back-to-back nights how can they call themselves athletes or competitors?

There'd be far less outrage if he missed the Portland game after, you know, seeing how he felt after Milwaukee. But he's clearly looked at the schedule like weeks ahead and been like, I'm not playing against the harder team in the back-to-back, got it approved by the league, and reveals it a day or two before. That's whack.

He's got a serious life long progressively getting worse injury...what's so hard to understand?

So why don't the Clippers and Kawhi come clean publicly and say that Kawhi has "a serious life long progressively getting worse injury"?

Because that will hurt ticket sales and sponsorship dollars. This is a bait & switch scam.

Blame the NBA for giving the Clippers 3 straight weeks of having b2b games. Most teams haven't even had 1 to this point. The schedule is ridiculous to start the year. The fact we are only a month into the season and the Clippers will play their third b2b next week is dumb.

Yea not like they beat the Sixers and Bucks. They only played one series the whole playoffs.

He is on record saying the regular season is just practice. I think he knows that they can sleepwalk to a top seed, they won't have homecourt against the Lakers even if they HAD homecourt against the Lakers, so there's no need to push for first. He wants to play for a long time, and so this is the only way his leg will hold up. I see no problem with it. Someone who saves themselves to play for the ultimate prize is competitive, he also leveraged his own team into blowing their future asset base just to compete for a title for the next two years. He clearly is as competitive on and off the court as it gets.

Exactly. The problem is that Kawhi and the clippers came out and said no load management this season. 8 games in and he has already missed two of eight games. It's dishonest.

As a NBA fan watching NBA games off of NBA4Free.com illegal live streams, I demand that I get what I deserve and have Kawhi play when I click that link and my pop-up blocker stops the malware.

Stop spewing falsehoods. They never said there will be no load management. They said it would be game to game basis. They said Kawhi was healthy but never once said "oh no load management". You can be perfectly healthy and rest games. Yes it sucks he isn't playing but they didn't lie about it. The only dishonest person in this conversation is you.

Kawhi actually has a condition which is why he has to do load management. It's injury related and therefore shouldn't be fine worthy. He's legitimately saving himself for the playoffs like he did last year and we all know how that turned out.
