Drummond PnR with either Kemba or Hayward as ball handler and Brown and Tatum on the wings would be lethal. Drummond will instantly improve our rebounding. He gives us someone with the requisite size and athleticism to match up with Embiid, Giannis, Davis if we want to make a serious run. If you can get him without giving up Kemba, Brown, Tatum or Hayward you gotta do it. He's a great fit next to those 4. Sucks to lose Smart but you still got Edwards, Semi, Grant, Theis, Rob on the bench.

I know what the old saying is, but Smart is about as close as you're gonna get to being untouchable on this team.

Originally I was trying to keep Smart, Brown, Tatum, Hayward and Kemba while trading for Drummond. To make salary work I think we would need to send all of Theis, Kanter, Langford, Semi, Porier and both Williams. Can't see a 7-1 trade happening. I'm not trying to trade Smart but I would for Drummond.

Yep let’s trade arguably the best defender in the league who defends Bigs better than Drummond anyway lol

Liked him in the predraft, but what’s the incentive for Minnesota? They like him as a prospect.

Here is a silly trade idea. If you expect Gordon to opt out and want the max elsewhere, a trade with Miami might make sense as he wanted to play there. Gordon plus Green for Dragic, Kelly, Herro. Then you flip Poirier/Dragic/Bucks pick to OKC for Adams.

What if Ayton was up for grabs.
Would we be interested in that guy? Looks feels like a prototypical 5 with good offensive skills and good rebounding but no idea about his defence. If he were to become available what would make it work? All of our picks plus romeo plus?

I don't think Ayton loves the game. It's just a job for him-- he's said so. He's skilled offensively but he's just going through the motions for the $$$.

Montrezl Harrell is the antithesis of Ayton. Now there's a guy I'd love to see on the Celtics.

Harrell is a beast. Love that guy but no way he gets moved, ever.

On to Naz Reid, the kid from Asbury Park, NJ who was Tremont Waters' teammate at LSU. I liked Reid until he showed up at the Chicago pre-draft camp totally out of shape. He had something like 20% body fat.

I would have preferred that the Celtics keep Chinanu Onuaku, who has the same build as Reid but plays harder. And he wouldn't have cost anything except Javonte Green and his roster spot.

Onuaku was drafted by the Greenville Swarm in the G-league, so he's still available.

And then he played so well at the SL that Minnesota converted his two way into a standard contract. Kid is a baller, just don’t know if Minnesota would want to part with him without an overpay

Why wouldn’t we pay him the max? Where’s he going if he opts out? He’s been our best player this season. Only a handful of teams you can route him to for good karma: Miami, Denver, Portland, San Antonio, Dallas, maybe Orlando, I guess Utah..

That’s just not true and I don’t know why trade ideas are met with such sarcasm. Kemba, brown, Hayward, Tatum, Drummond and we can actually push the hall and use our speed.

Could use a shooter more than a big. Wizards are lotto bound so Bertans could be good target to replace Ojeleye. I think C position is also overcrowded.

Ojeleye, Poirier as salary + some 2nd rounders. 1st round pick seems too much.

I am all for that trade, but if you think Kanter's d is bad, every single player on the Wizards team is probably in the bottom 1% on defense. As a fill in to jack up 3's when we need floor spacing, sure.

Point of arithmetic: In a 30-team league, that couldn't possibly be true. :)

Especially with the Houston Rockets still in the NBA

China teams putting up 100points in 3 quarters against the wizards.

Then i look it up and see the Nets give up more points per game, lol.

Wanamaker, Ojeleye, Poirier, and a Pick = for somebody.
Then move Waters & Fall up to the NBA Roster.

We need more salary to get Bertans. He makes 7 million. Kanter and 2nd rounders for Bertans.

Waters yes but not Fall, we need a roster spot to try to get a solid player in the buyout market.
