Right now Giannis is head and shoulders above everyone else.

To get an idea an idea of just how otherworldly Giannis is, make note of the defensive numbers between the two.

I know that Giannis defensive impact is a whooole another level...i just posted it because its right now such a ridiculous one man show from both of them. Without them pretty sure both teams are 0-7 right now....

Thanks, I'm glad you posted it, would be such a shame to have one post on this board about an elite player without someone mentioning Doncic.

Lol Bucks would make the playoffs without Giannis. And comfortably.

Bledsoe/Hill/Middleton all scale up their usage and they are still a strong two-way team.

Brogdon did what he’s doing now, in Milwaukee...when Giannis wasn’t on the court.

Giannis is just the ultimate need the ball guy so he’ll always look better statistically than his impact. BTW TPA is not measuring impact it’s a a box score derivative.

But yes regardless I don’t think many guys, ever could do what Doncic and Giannis can as far as the ability to stuff stats.

It’d be funny if Lebron spent the entire season trying to convince media to give the award to AD, only they give it to Lebron instead and AD leaves. Giannis probably wins it though. That guy is amazing.

How is Giannis averaging that many boards? What a monster.

Give this man another MVP, that production is absurd.

He could win the MVP and DPOY in the same year. Such a great player.

I agree they would make the playoffs but only because the east is weak.No way that team makes the playoffs in the west.

I disagree with your take about usage.Sure they could up it.But i don't think you can take what Brogdon is currently doing and project it οnto different players.

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

by the time this season is over Giannis will start getting talked about in top 10 of all time conversations... he has really been working on his range and that makes him a **** nightmare for defenses.

If Kawhi plays 70-75 games I think the media is going to start backing him And vault him ahead of Giannis and Harden.

The most underrated part of the MVP race every season is the media loves a new player and new story to grasp into. If they didn’t then Jordan, Shaq and Lebron all would have won far more MVP trophies.

The problem is how is he going to hit that number. He's already missed 2 games in the first 9.

LeBron has impressed me so far with how adaptable hes been despite slowing down quite a bit athletically. There was a time when I wasnt sure how his game would translate. Its early but he definitely deserves to be in MVP talks, which I didnt totally expect for this year at 35 years old. Good on him.

That said, Giannis is very much like LeBron was at 24. A train with huge momentum coming into the station, ready to knock off the previous greats (Kobe/Duncan) of the time. I'm trying my best not to get too hyped about his development, but I really do see some incredibly special potential in him. We'll see if he keeps this up but if he does, he's easily a 2X MVP.

Clips have 12 B2Bs this year so it's conceivable that Kawhi could get to 70 games if he's otherwise healthy and plays all the other ones. I kind of doubt the media will want to reward load mgmt though. At some point the narrative is going to shift to "Kawhi has an unfair advantage, and so his numbers/impact is artificially inflated." Have to wait and see how many games Giannis and Lebron play.

He is shooting 26.6% from 3 which is worse than his career average.

His midrange, especially 3~10ft has been way better though, shooting 48% of them which is pretty good.

Right now to start the season there really isn't much of a discussion to be had. Giannis has pulled out way ahead to start the season. If the dude keeps this up, hes going to be a unanimous MVP this year. The gap between him and everyone else to start the year is massive.

he is taking more of them no??? hence the working on them statement.
He gets those long range shots to start falling even at a + 35% and look out
