Simple day suspension would have suffice, heck maybe a petty fine. They went way beyond what was needed to make example of Dion/JJ, but this isn't their fault. Stuff just happens sometimes. What happens next happens, I don't think it's a big deal... Heat will get over and Dion will pay whatever consequences their are at play(which might end up being costly/awful for him tbf, if it hasn't already)

Can't remember what happened with Gerald Green? I think he was fined and back on the court within like 72hrs of the incident

Gerald Green was on flakka that night.

Flakka is a whole different story. That chit makes you into a real brain eating zombie.

Yeah, but what they don't tell you is that it gives you cocaine strength.

That was not a fun call to tackle this behemoth of a man when I was in school. **** was rampant in Broward.

You end up in isolation for 8-12 hours then the psych ward for a mandatory 72 hours when you're caught on that ****.

Lot of observers often misdiagnose just a faint for a seizure, cause people who faint can sometimes have seizure like involuntary movements. Since this story likely didn't break from a physician source, it's possible

Yea', but they likely didn't leak or give the squad a brief synopsis of the situation, but maybe they did, idk

Waiters doesn't have epilepsy, so he can't speak for Waiters brain. Only Bish is allowed to do so.

HIPPA laws are why it won't break from a physician source. But a physician checking on him and then saying "oh ****, he's seizing!" and others hearing that remark is how it spreads. ;)

The mother of Dion Waiters, Monique Brown, went to social media on Saturday morning and posted a message on her Instagram story: “Please don’t Believe the rumors the media will report fake news to get clicks and likes ... smh none of that mess is true!”

Brown went on to post: “Thanks to all who reach out to us concerning [Waiters] ... He’s good ... We appreciate it.”

The first suspension along with this incident, not sure what that can equal to as far as how the Heat can move forward.

I said maybe he didn't have a seizure, no need to break into a Bish said contest

Good to hear Dion's okay, libel fest has to be especially tough for parents, ie JR's ppl

May be just maybe the Heat should start a pro waiters marketing campaign to get Batum from Hornets.

Back to BBall talk. This is what is most frustrating, Bam with only 7 shot attempts in 39 mins. Olynyk with 11 shot attempts in 28 mins. There needs to be emphasis from coaches on getting Bam more shot attempts, and stop using Olynyk as a go too scorer. It was cute a few years ago when the Heat had no one to go too. But now it's ridiculous.

I dont think they’re using Olynyk as a go to scorer, he’s just more aggressive in his shot attempts. How many times do we watch Bam freeze with the ball in his looking to pass instead of taking an open shot? Cant really blame the coaches if a guy just doesnt have that aggression in him.

Bam needs to shoot the dam 3, that's a large part of why Kelly shoots more. He's not going to be a low-post or mid-post guy, that much should be known. Just embrace the shot big fella

He gets his touches at midrange. That's the design of the offense. KO is at the three point line to create space for Bam to work the midrange and the rim. Bam chooses to pass out of it 99.999 percent of the time.

You can blame the coaches. It's their job to teach the player the role they want in the offense. Olynyk didn't come to the Heat with the mind frame to jake up all the shots he does. The coaches pushed him too, he said that his first year. It was new to him and adjustment he had to make. Spo was publically saying Olynyk wasn't taking enough shots. You don't hear no talk about Bam needing to take more shots. I remember Olynyk saying he had to seek advice from Ellington on playing how Spo wants him to play.
