RJ and Frank have enough shooters, imo.

Knox, Dotson, Trier, Ellington, Portis. And Bullock is still set to return. This isn't including Randle because he kinda holds to ball a lot in the post. Maybe they could have gotten another stretch 5 b/c Mitch and Taj can't shoot.

Not the greatest shooters, but enough for RJ and Frank to develop their passing game.

The issue is actually RJ and Frank themselves need to develop a shooting game. There's no real issue of them finding shooters.

Those guys are ok.

But Knicks had a ton of cap space and could have added some elite shooters. Signing 4 players at the same position was a very stupid move.

I don't know how anyone could justify that.

Who are some elite shooters they could have signed for a 1+1 contract? Because it was pretty clear the Knicks weren't signing guys to longer term deals unless it was the top FAs.

Knicks lost Kornet, Lance Thomas, Vonleh, and KP. So they replaced them. Why is it so hard for the GB to understand the Knicks just refilled their position spots?

Why are you signing guys for 1+1 contract?

That's again stupid. All for the pipe dream that the Knicks will get this elusive FA that they never get?

Even if they needed that cap space they could trade the contract if need be.

LOL Kornet, Lance Thomas, Vonleh, and KP were not making a fraction of what all these guys are making. You don't spend all your money on one position.

Frank isn't a stable rotation player until he can at least respectably stick the 3 ball

PLEASE. This dude doesn’t speak for me as a Knicks fan. Another delusional fan. Who cares what he did in a handful of games?? He’s a bench player

yep. defense is nice, but at a certain point you have to put the ball in the basket.

Same with Ball except with worse D, more injury problems, and better passing. Both are rotational players until they develop atleast a average shot.

Frank is the youngest player in NBA history to put up
9 pts 9 ast, 6 stl & 0 to. The young guy is learning.

Frank in 10 games as a starter:
7.8 PPG
3.7 APG
2.7 RPG
1.9 SPG
1.2 TPG
45% FG
40% 3PT
71% FT
31 MPG
& consistently elite defense that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet — although tonight he did tie a career high 6 steals. All the averages aside from FT% are career highs, and the turnovers are a career low.

he's not north/south enough nor is he a good enough offensive player to warrant more. but he's young enough to develop. frank's fit may ultimately be like a marcus smart.

frank's strength is his defense and he's been playing elite defense lately.

he's guarding 1's to 5's, that's the "arrived" part and anyone with a pair of eyes knows perimeter defense isn't easy to find and when you do find it, you keep it and hope that jumper improves.

if marcus smart has a role in the nba, so can frank because they're both the exact type of player.

Injury prone scrubs?
Who said anything about Avery Bradley or Rajon Rondo?

its pretty funny yet sad at the same time how nyk fans pin their hopes and dreams on busts and overhyped guys like frank, rj knox and dsj.. i cant even name your starters. nyc shoulda paid and stuck with lin and melo and their jerseys wouldve been retired by now. at least you know they arrived

Arrived probably isn't the best word to use for a guy like frank, you don't really see fans of other teams saying similar things about their role players.

I'm seeing a -12. He played them again and was +22 but his numbers weren't particularly great. That first game they lost by 21 points, so even if he had been a -22 is he to blame then? I suppose so SINCE THE KNICKS ARE PLAYING 4 vs 5 on offense with him on the court amiriteguise?

For the whole season he's probably -22, and he plays for the knicks. THE KNICKS. Significant minutes a lot of the time. Good day.
