Will be THE biggest mistake the Knickerbockers make if/when they fire Fiz.

My gosh...it was not Fiz who made the decision to sign a million power forwards.

Upper management needs to stay in their lane and let Fiz coach and develop the players. Fiz is the one who has to work with the players Perry and Mills brought in. The fact Perry brought in his boy Elfrid just makes the whole Point God situation even more confusing.

Let Frank play. Free Frank! Bring DSJ off the bench and let him get buckets. Someone gotta get a big man to work with Mitch Rob to ease up on the fouls.

The signings aren’t on fiz but the way we play is. Fiz can’t even provide simple pick and roll plays. We’re watching Bobby portis post ups, Julius Randle shenanigans and iso Morris plays. That’s all on the coach he’s garbage. He doesn’t play the players to their strength he tries to tap into some kind of secret talent he thinks they have and it’s just a mess and hard to watch

We were losing since the beginning of the season but we kept fighting in these losses nd now we just lose and show no effort getting blown out on the regular with a offense that runs through power forward ISO’s and forcing the paint. That’s all on fiz and a sign your team is giving up on you. I give it about 5 more games until he’s outta here he ain’t the only one that needs to go though

I brought up this scenario before, but if RJ asks to be traded 3-4 yrs for now, it’s more of an indictment of this organization. These clowns in the front office fkd up the KP trade which set us back. And completely laid an egg in free agency.

Fiz sucks too don’t get me wrong. But this roster is ass.

Certainly possible that we could have gotten more for KP but how much more, I'm skeptical. Maybe a Jaylen Brown would be nice. He's not great though. Also if we had KP on the roster, and on a Max, I'm skeptical it would be helping much if any. And then the risk of injury.

But I guess having both KP and Mitch would at least guarantee decent paint D most of the time. KP was on the team when the D wasn't that good. He had blocks on Friday and we still had a good offensive night.

I'm just saying that I think KP's a risky bet and the only way it's worth it is if his D solved most all of our defensive problems and I don't think it would.

Maybe we could have pulled more in a deal.

Obviously, the first move that you make it to try and get in a coach with a clue who will command respect.

Then, come December, move as many of the incompatible pieces as possible.

Real talk, Mills is the one who should go. Mans just went into pure panic mode with the Payton, Portis, Taj and Randle signings. Randle...yeah...good signing...Payton we can make an argument for (when he ain't missing 15+ games every season).

Now Mills trying to pass the blame and throw Fiz under the 1993 Toyota 4Runner. SMH

What Mills probably doesn't realize is that this press conference effectively ended our season. Not that we were going to accomplish anything but the multi-year outlook is out the window. Fiz is backed into a corner and will switch from a balancing act of development & winning to just trying to win to save his own rear end. Vets are going to get the minutes. I wouldn't be surprised to see guys like Frank and Knox have their minutes significantly reduced in the coming weeks. Barrett is going to play 42 minutes a night lol. Morris will be up near 40. Portis will be playing 35. All because these idiots in the FO had to open their mouths in public less than a month into the season.

If it comes to that--and it is setting up Fiz to be the fall guy even more--then they will ax him with a quickness.

Dolan will never sell so nothing will change until he dies.

If Dolan is running the show you can look forward to something somehow worse like an Ernie Grunfeld/Rod Thorn front office tandem...

(I am so sorry for you guys)

Fun fact

Last year, Frank scored .76 point per possession on isolations and turned the ball over 5% of the time, which is abysmal, to say the least

This year, as a team we score .76 ppp and turn the ball over almost 19% of the time on isolations, and .78 ppp and 18% turnovers on post ups

Our team is statistically worse at isolating and posting up than Frank is at isolating, which is absolutely ridiculous to me, and we're near the top of the league in number of isos and post ups per game

That's on Fiz, 100%

Only hope is if Dolan tries to replicate what he did with the NY Rangers to the NY Knicks.

THIS

is why we are disfunctional. We have injuries and a incomplete Roster. Let Fiz coach the entire year and see where the chips fall.

We need to keep building through the draft

Perry is a good drafter and undrafted player signer, keep doing THAT.

not everything happens all at once even if you would like it to. they're not gonna just clean house today.

every day people are complaining about fiz. talking about how he needs to go. well now it looks like he is.

don't worry, the front office's time is coming too. they hired that coach, they picked these players, they need a miracle now to keep their jobs. they're just not being fired now but it's likely coming sometime between the end of this season and the end of the season after.

Look at all these Fizdale apologists. Mills has given him 20 PF's to work with and he still can't get the job done.
