Dude Fiz is beyond terrible. He wants to be buddy buddy with all the players. There is no accountability on the team. Randle can have 7 turnovers in a row and he won't be benched.

I get that. But I felt Mills kinda sold Fiz on the idea of having a black trio run the team. And only like a year and a half later, he gives him a crap roster and runs to Dolan about him being a crappy coach.

I honestly don't think the best coach in the NBA can make this a 30 win team.

I disagree.

There is a ton of low hanging fruit here that could be cleaned up, and that a good coach would optimize.

Just a question. We know that our situation is very unattractive to potential FA 's. But do you think this applies to potential front office execs. Just wondering if a guy like Masai Ujiri would see our situation as a challenge, or would he run for the hills.'

It seems like we have a lot to work with so there that...

A ton. First step - go small more often. Enough with the mandatory 2 big rule

Very fixable... if Lillard demands a trade

Randle, Smith, Dotson and 2 mavs picks

Another future first for Masaji and its all good... or you let him redo the roster from the ground like he did in Toronto where he almost traded away Lowry, too

This is a Dolan/Mills issue.

I can’t put full blame on Perry and Fizdale.

The sad part is that if the front office was more patient and didn’t make media face saving decisions this would be the current building blocks for the future...

Mitch
KP
RJ
Donovan Mitchell
Jamal Murray
Michael Porter Jr
Trier
Dot

And still with a shot at LaMelo Ball...

Only good FA signing from this past offseason worth keeping was Taj Gibson.

Some people are so delusional. If Dolan wants Masai and throws enough money Masai will be in NY. I don't care what moral principle this jackwagon thinks Masai has. the Knicks will always be attractive to executives as long as the money is still green and the city is what it is.

I think it absolutely applies to GMs also. Who wants to work for an owner whose known to meddle and interfere? The stench of Dolan's reputation is gonna linger over this team until he either sells or just dies..

We all want Masai, but we will probably end up with Magic.

Yeah but has Dolan meddled since Perry came aboard? I think there is a difference between dishing out reprimands for incompetence and meddling.

I don't believe him. I think Ujiri would do it if Dolan said he won't speak to him the entire tenure.

Man, all that is overrated. Nobody cares about the Knicks. The Knicks had a chance to sign Kd and Kyrie and both shun them. Stop overrating this wretched Franchise.

"Everyone gone" also means remove those leeches in the front office. I take it that Phil has to always deal with those guys who are untouchable, because he isnt allowed to clean house.

I’m under the impression that Dolan doesn’t do anything besides hiring them. Is that wrong again? I think with P Jax that Dolan would even be afraid to interfere, Mills is a bit of a kiss ass though.

There's no salary cap when it comes to hiring executives. If Dolan would have been able to offer as much money as he wanted to to KD and Kyrie they wouldn't be in Brooklyn right now...
