best thing to do for him is to retire first thing in the morning

Once again, kandi has no basis in reality. Mussina is not giving up guarenteed money.

He wasn't done when you were saying all of that stuff. He was our best pitcher through June and July, better than Pettitte and Clemens. Look at his game log through those months:

6/7: 6 innings, 4 hits, 1 run
6/13: 7.2 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs
6/19: 6 innings, 7 hits, 3 runs
6/24: 5 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs
6/29: 7 innings, 6 hits, 1 run
7/4: 6 innings, 5 hits, 3 runs
7/15: 6 innings, 11 hits, 3 runs
7/20: 4.2 innings, 7 hits, 6 runs
7/25: 5.2 innings, 6 hits, 1 run
7/31: 6 innings, 6 hits, 3 runs
8/5: 6 innings, 9 hits, 2 runs
8/11: 7.2 innings, 8 hits, 2 runs

Over a FULL 2 month period, he allowed more than 3 runs in just 1 start. He had 9 quality starts of those 12, and two of them he allowed just 2 runs but didn't go 6 innings to qualify for the quality start...so in reality he gave us a quality pitched game 11 of those 12 times he took the mound.

So you were wrong that entire time.

So what's your logic? He woke up on August 16th (when this bad stretch started) and had lost it all overnight? I don't buy it.

Please don't mention "miss" and "Carl Pavano" ever in the same sentence. Pavano would give us more of the same in this rotation...mediocrity.

What if it is Miss Carl Pavano, because I heard he had something removed and is now classified as a Miss instead of Mr
