Tatum has to lead the league in the hands up "who me?" gesture any time he commits a foul. He's never committed one. Also breaks it out when he doesn't get call. Hate him.

Also, Smart disgusts me. His elite talent is flopping defensively and on offense. Watch any drive and he'll seek contact and then flop off of it and most likely fall. Really gross.

Now is the time for Patty Mills to ask for a trade to a contender (us)

Indeed it was quite embarrassing. I mean that lakers team is over-hyped af.

Raptors are dangerously thin right now. If they lose OG (sat out basically whole game after getting poked in the eye) I don't think gasol and their bench can handle the minutes.

Yea, as must as I think they'll be a tough out, it's not great that they're giving such heavy minutes to their top guys already.

I would not want to face a team with two :lift: members in any round.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

Dolan should be stripped of ownership and the team should be awarded to Desus and Mero.

Amazing. The play at 0:50 :o I propose the following NBA rule change: If you can score, while simultaneously kicking Marcus Smart in the nuts - game over, you win, lights out, go home.

Ryan McDonough was one of if not THE worst GM of all time.

Among the fan base it was about a 50/50 split between Ayton and Luka. The Bender experience spooked some and there was also the UofA homers who favored Ayton. I do think Ayton will be a good player, great hands and touch for a big but Luka is awesome.

Ron Swanson wrote:Siakam sure. Fred VanVleet as a guy you "don't mind paying the max to"? Sorry PP, I think you're off your rocker on that one.

We've got another 70 games for this to play out, before he's a free agent. Given the dearth of free agents this summer, someone is going to get desperate and toss a max at him, that the Raptors will need to equal to keep him. And he's not an RFA, so they won't have the option to "match".

Nonetheless, I'd pay him. As Nowak notes above, I'd much rather have a Marcus Smart on my roster than Zach LaVine. To that same point, FVV is a guy you win with, despite his efficiency looking ugly at times.

No way in hell is FVV getting a max deal, IMO.

Trying to dig into Boston's start a few things stand out.
They don't turn it over.
Teams are only shooting 41.7% on wide open 2s and 35.4% on wide open 3s against them.
Teams are only shooting 32.5% on open 3s against them.
They are shooting 75% on wide open 2s, which would be 10% over last 6 season's top team but that's only 2.3 makes a game.
They draw the 5th most fouls in the league.
They are limiting teams to 10.1 pts a game on fastbreaks, leading the league.
They are third in the league in limiting opponents points in the paint.
They are the best 4th quarter team in the league, 21.6 NetRtg with the second best TS%. That is unsustainable as the top NetRtg over the past 18 or so years in the 4th quarter has been around 11.6 back in the early aughts.
Everything seems to be working for them right now.
