Soriano returns Tues! Fo Sho.
Wiretap and Chicagosports.com
"Alfonso Soriano will be back in the starting lineup Tuesday night against Milwaukee after a three-week absence with a torn quadriceps."
"Unless he slips coming off the airplane," Cubs manager Lou Piniella said with a laugh before Sunday's game."
Thanks Lou for jinxing us.
"Piniella said Soriano would bat leadoff, with Ryan Theriot moving down to the No. 2 hole. While Soriano said he wasn't 100 percent, he maintained he was ready to go."
Not new news, but if he isn't 100% and has an injury to his LEGS. Then why not put him at the 5-hole. Geez!
Alright lets make our run and barry the Brewers and Cards into 2nd and 3rd for good.

I had this thought when we signed this guy.
What kind of player wants out of NY to be the man. Geez I hate the Yanks but its NY, the most historic franchise ever. Then again he knows he has to play team player on this Cubs team because if he does end up helping out in a World Series victory he is probably god.

Huh? He was traded, for a pretty good player.

SportsWorld posted his statistics in the playoffs of 03'.. i actually brought this up when Soriano was struggling.. I saw an article in 03' about Steinbrennar straight bombing Soriano for not performing in the playoffs and saying he never wants to see Soriano in a Yankee uniform again.. Anyways this signing was terrible..but Soriano is that type of player that can carry an offense in the "REGULAR" season.. if you expect him to perform in the playoffs you're dead wrong.. but this is not 03' hopefully he changed by then
