Nevermind.... 15

Yeah he was in there quite a bit in the 2nd half. I was kind of hoping they had some secret play-action pass specifically for him.

I was very encouraged by Sternberger's play. Didn't have anything near a reception, but he made some nice blocks in the running game. If blocking was supposedly his weakness, I'm feeling good about his long-term potential.

It's shocking how poorly Rodgers managed the clock on their last possession, burning a timeout and taking a delay of game. That was some JV quarterbacking out there. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks Rodgers intentionally took that delay of game just to make it a passing down. I can't think of any other reason a veteran QB would allow that to happen at that point in the game.

They could've run out the clock, but instead (1) killed their momentum and game the Panthers D time to catch their breath; and (2) took a 5-yard penalty that effectively killed the drive.

I didn't notice him, but for that one quick view. It's good they got him some game time. I know Rodgers trusts Graham and Lewis, but neither guy is what they once were (despite that super catch and run by Graham - that was highlight reel stuff)

I muted the TV after Aikman went on his endless rant about the dubious Roughing call and Buck went on his customary weather rant, but I should have tuned in for the radio coverage.

Shocker the ref got one call right in our favor on the last drive.

That was not an offside previously. He wasn't across the LOS. He barely moved and the OL didn't jump enough to have to stop the play. And they somehow missed both intentional groundings. The 2nd one was especially obvious because he wasn't hit, just threw it out of bounds, and it wasn't near across the LOS.

Refs were doing everything to keep that one interesting, increase football season's beatings, and give us heart events. The NFL is sponsored by Prevea.

The laughable thing is that everybody thinks that the Packers are getting the benefit of the doubt from all of the bad calls in the NFL. Literally every post on social media from any of the NFL accounts have people just ripping the Packers for being the officials' favorite team. For every call the Packers got to benefit them, I can think of one equally as bad that hampered them. It's not a team by team problem in the league -- it's an officiating problem across the board. Jerome Bogar's crew might be the worst in the sport, and it's another example of zero accountability by the NFL for continuing to employ these bozos with zero consequences.

I love how people were completely criticizing the Rodgers RTP call (which was a bad one), but then failed to mention any of the grounding non-calls, OPI calls, and the offsides call that wasn't offsides on the third to last play of the game.

It seemed like the refs were being lenient on that final drive and I generally don't mind it but those groundings were a stretch.

The first grounding: Wright was like 8-10 yards away. I think the rule is 5 but the ref seemed to point at him. Obviously Allen was just chucking it into the ground. The rule I'm seeing is, "if a receiver is nearby" which is extremely ambiguous and I guess if someone was trying to keep that game interesting the ref could've said, "he was trying to throw it to Wright."

The second grounding: The ball crossed the sideline like a yard short of the LOS but it was hard to tell because it went a few yards past the LOS by the time it landed.

We probably should've gotten one or both but yeah, refs trying not to essentially end it on a penalty.

Been seeing alot of complaints about King in the game threads and figured I'd check out the numbers cause frankly I thought hes actually played pretty well for a young CB. It seems like the numbers back it up with the his inconsistency showing up in his yards per completion/target but every other stat hes looking pretty good in

(Also looking at those stats it's amazing Martinez doesnt get targeted every play)

Only complaint about Kevin King is he misses too many tackles (1 in 5 chance of just biffing a tackle).

Blake... 90% completions against for 8 yards a completion? Jesus. I have to know why he has been kept on the field. Everyone else must be so terrible in practice.
