We can't use him, we are ssooo full of scorers right now, he would have no place in the team. Harris making 30M+ while Shayok is not playing in NBA demonstrates how corrupted and destroyed NBA is right now. It is a joke.

He looks nice and I do think there's strong potential he could become a contributor at some point, but a ton of scrubs every year put up big numbers in the G-League. It's silly to compare him to Harris. It's not even comparable.

Agreed. Ridiculous and wreckless comparison.

Shayok is prime KD, but better.

New thread proposal:

Title: Welcome Xavier Munford?

Body (sarcastic in tone):
We can't use him, we are ssooo full of scorers right now, he would have no place in the team. Harris making 30M+ while Munford is not playing in NBA demonstrates how corrupted and destroyed NBA is right now. It is a joke.

It is a joke for the difference in money, Shayok is at least half the player as far as I'm concerned. You can mock me as much as you want, dude is very underrated.

LOL. Embarrassing, but consistent.

This Shayok thing might not be a fluke.

We saw Kendrick Nunn light up the G-league for 19 ppg in his first season out of college. Now he's starting for the Heat and putting up crazy scoring production.

It's not like Shayok wasn't nasty at Iowa State.

You know I don't like zero defense guys, so a player has to be really good on offense for me to show interest. He is one of them.

I mean, it honestly couldn't hurt. Our offense has been that dysfunctional to watch.

Shayoksanity continued on Friday night

29 points, 13 boards, 5 assists, 3 steals

Likelihood of fluke continues to lessen.

He's an effective scorer, but I'm also intrigued to see what he can do defensively. Not expecting him to be a stopper, but considering he's got an NBA frame to go along with a 7' wingspan.... I at least don't foresee him being a liability.

If he gets called up and inserted into the rotation for a game or two that'll likely mean they see something in him. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets called up before Zhaire.

He could become an adequate team defender I guess, but that's with another team, with Brett's schemes it is not likely for him to be that.

He's really slow and was a terrible defender in college, I would definitely bet on him being a liability in the NBA.

If he can shoot threes on the move and put the ball on the floor then he might be worth a shot regardless.

Averaging 35, 9, and 4 over the last three. Good enough for G-League Player of the week honors.

This is slightly inaccurate. He was a tremendous defender as a reserve at Virginia.
