When does Ty Jerome return? I think he can have a big influence on games like this because he can fully run the 2nd unit which is an area in which we struggle at the end of 1st and 3rd quarters with.

I'm a fan of the comics, so I recognized Rorschach's intro monologue as soon as I saw it.
BTW, I'm Croatian so I follow the Suns closely for the last couple of years. Bender dissapionted, but Šarić is much better. I'm glad most of the games are around 7 PM west coast time, that's 4 AM here. I wake up, watch the game live and off to work. Been enjoying the start of the season, hopefully they'll continue with great play.

Remember our star just turned 23 while one of the Lakers stars is turning 35 in 2 months.
Book is finally going to get some experience closing games now that we are competitive.. he has won us a few notable games but lost a few as well. Lots to learn.
That’s why and where Ayton is helpful - scoring points from inside the paint or let’s just say 10-12 feet. Lakers has so many easy buckets - makes it harder to keep up shooting threes.

I mean how do you know that? He's a rookie with zero games under his belt and looks like he has no athleticism to play defense in NBA. Big influence on games? That seems like wishful thinking combined with homerism. I'd rather have more Point Book.

Dario had a great game. He's been solid on defense so far, but underwhelming on offense. Someone mentioned he starts slowly, so maybe this game is a sign he's finding his form and will continue to improve in the upcoming games.

He's a notoriously slow starter. But if one thing is certain, Dario will adapt to the new situation well. In Europe, he went from first option in Cibona to being a role player in Efes and he improved his shooting tremendously.
In NBA he was one of the three best rookies his first year and clear leader of the weak 76-ers team. Then his second season everyone said he can't play with Embiid and Simmons but Dario responded by playing best basketball of his career. Then came year 3, the slow start and trade to Wolves. He was really emotional about trade, and then Thibodeau was acting weird (Dario later said that coach didn't even speak with him one on one about goals and his role on the team) but he still put up solid numbers, especially shooting the ball.
Then came this summer and trade to Phoenix. I can assure you that Šarić was really happy about trade, he wanted to play for Monty.
Šarić is a true competitor. He has his quirks, for example, he usually doesn't respond well to being relegated to bench role, he's much better when he starts, I guess he takes that personally. But he always lifts his play as season progresses. Looking forward to Suns games this season, last three years were terrible, but the team this year is a joy to follow.

I thought it wOuld be a winnable game and i still think it was. Booker understandably overmotivated to prove he belongs in the top tier, but it cost the team. Sadly, consistently selfish and dumb plays by Oubre and Tyler Johnson. Both seem to believe that they are the best option in any situation. The identity of this team is passing and assisting and giving up good for great views and they sticked out as disruptive in the most negative way. Like you have all sorts of Carmelo Antonys on the court.
Lebron and his bandwagon plus the refs who influence every one of his game since he first stepped on an NBA floor are about the most annoying and disgraceful thing this league has to offer. Oh and the rest of his super best friends too. Good thing he wont win a damn thing with the zero defense he plays.

We lost that game because of Oubre’s poor play offensively and defensively. Plain and simple. If we had Ayton we could afford the bad play from him. I believe every loss this year would be a win if we had ayton except for the Heat game

Re: Game 10: Los Angeles Lakers (7-2) @ Phoenix Suns (6-3)
Ultimately growth is what I wanted to see this season and we've seen a pretty big leap in terms of this. Can't say I'm satisfied about this loss but looking at a high level we're 100% moving in the direction, even Booker who showcased some of his old habits. But old habits die hard and when you've played in an environment which has fostered those bad habits for years, I think it's only fair to give him more than 10 games to grow out of it.
Overall, we were competitive, it was FUN, we played well and we lost down the stretch to a contender led by one of the GOAT's alongside probably a top 5 player in the league in AD. They executed better down the line and it's something that our young guys, especially Booker will need experience and learn over time.

Stu has always been just straight up. Our broadcast team is probably as neutral as it gets.Frank Lee wrote:the fLaker's color man, Stu Lantz... one of the best... right there with Eddie. Surprising it wasnt a spoonfed lovefest like with so many others. Dude was just matter of fact talking basketball and not crawling up the purple/gold bumhole.
Btw... Suns getting back good is good for league. Devin just has to stay aggressive and some games make his teammates follow.

Pretty weird, having just watched our young, undermanned squad almost pull off a win against the 8-2 Lakers with a barrage of three balls, to see all these negative comments, ripping each and every player who didn't outperform last night. Remarkable. As if we were supposed to win last night; as if we were the presumptive Western Conference champions.
You can get your hatin' asses right outta here if you're ready to pounce on these guys so quickly. One game? This early?
Y'all need some PERSPECTIVE.

100%
Criticism is fine but we're certainly not "owed" or deserving of anything in terms of winning just because we've started off the well

And don't be a homer. Championship caliber teams with a long line of success can will get criticism. The suns are not somehow above this because they're playing better than most expected coming into the season. Expectations change and the team and players will be judged on their current merits. It's a good thing that people are expecting good performances; raise the bar.

I'm not concerned with the loss. What worries me more is that i see some guys consistently go in the wrong direction, wether intentional or just because they cannot play any different way. A thing to discuss and observe imho; thats the purpose of a forum, isnt it?

Re: Game 10: Los Angeles Lakers (7-2) @ Phoenix Suns (6-3)
I actually really like Dario, sure he could do a bit more, but he's not afraid, tries on D, and I think he's really buying into the 0.5 offense which at times might result in him making a rushed play. Once he gets comfortable he should utilize his skills better.
That possession where he passed up an open look from 3 to Cam in the corner annoyed me, but I think that could just be an example of him trying to play within the system, and Cam was hot from 3
I like Frank too, apart from him being hesitant from 3, he gets in the post, tries out a few of his moves (some good, some not), puts effort on the other end, and also tries to play within the system. He has the skill set, just needs to find his comfort zone. As a back up big, if he's able to combine this with his floor-stretching ability, you couldn't ask for more from a backup big.
Or maybe I'm just pleased to see this level of play after watching the likes of Bender, Chriss, and Josh for so long.

Have you heard about the websites where you can watch game replays? There's quite few of them. I'm also European, so that's how I've been watching most of the games. If you don't check the score, then the intrigue is still there. It might make you a more productive worker

Get league pass. I temporarily moved my address to africa so it became really affordable. Moved back home one hour later.
League pass is a great product tbh. All games, in 2-3 different streams/color commentary. On Notebook, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone. Games downloadable and watchable offline in the train or plane. All of this for sub 100 € for the whole season. No need to find poor illegal streams really.

Honestly, there's illegal streams that's significantly better than league pass. Better video and sound quality and less lag. League pass is a safe choice because it'll always be available but the product itself is overpriced (if you don't go the VPN route) and only decent, not great.

I couldn't go to work and not check NBA results, no way. Besides, I have two little kids so it's quite benefitial to fall asleep early, say 9 PM and let wife put them to sleep
