Iman Shumpert Agrees To Sign With Nets

Iman Shumpert has agreed to sign with the Brooklyn Nets.

Brooklyn has a 16th roster spot available until Wilson Chandler returns from his suspension in mid-December.

Shumpert finished last season with the Houston Rockets.

Nets had to draw the line somewhere. They already have one buddy chewing up 10 million a year for 4 years so he can stand around and do nothing.

Blazers have an open roster spot and a forward out for the season. If Lillard really wants Melo, I guess it doesn't matter what Lillard wants.

Well, look what happened. I don't know if it's Lillard throwing his weight around or Olshey believes Melo can solve Blazers woes. With Melo, Whiteside, Bazemore, Hezonja, and Gasol; Olshey has now added 5 players he unsuccessfully pursued in previous years.
