Damn. Blazers are now 4-7.

If the Trailblazers make a move what do we think it would look like?

It stands to reason Lillard only gets dealt if they want to blow it all up but it seems unlikely they go that route considering their win now aspirations.

McCollum could get the boot but they'd need to be getting something better in return.

Portland has all their first round picks for years to come if they want to leverage draft assets in a deal of some kind. Bazemore or Zach Collins could be contracts to attach.

DeRozan can become a free agent in 2020 by declining his $27.7 million player option… The Spurs could always deal him sooner rather than let him walk for nothing. Multiple league sources say the Magic are scouring the trade market for scoring help and have already expressed interest in trading for DeRozan.

Oh Johnny boy.....

There’s next to zero chance the Blazers trade Lillard unless they get a Godfather offer. As good as he is I’m not sure many teams would be willing to give what the Blazers would want given his age and contract.

Only real shot is if he asks out.

Man, the sixers are hard to watch. When Embiid isn't playing there's basically no point.

Korkmaz looks good, but Tobias Harris can't shoot and does nothing else (and has the worst contract in the NBA). Josh Richardson is garbage and dribbles way too much. Ben Simmons makes flashy plays occasionally but if anyone is being honest with themselves, no one wants a PG that can't shoot.

I always say John Hammond teams are 4th quarter teams. Usually it means they're down 20 and lose by 10 but 4th quarter team nonetheless.

Wiggins becoming an All-Star level player in his 6th season would certainly be one of the oddest career arcs for a #1 overall pick. Maybe Thibs was really that bad?

Philly has at least two contracts worse than Middleton's.

If teams were free to pay whatever they want without cap rules Kawhi and Giannis would be making $80m a year, and then Harris and Middleton's contracts would seem reasonable.

Harris and Middleton are in that middle band of NBA players who are paid what they're worth based on their actual market value, because they are too old for rookie deals and not good enough to be underpaid as NBA superstars are.

He’s had good stretches before and fell back down. I’m not buying into it. He looked pretty mediocre against us while putting up some empty stats in a blowout loss.

Hot take? Probably not, but it feels weird to speak this way of the Spurs...

I get the feeling they are going to be not good for several years, at least. They'll still be good-ish because they have Pop and some solid talent. But I think the playoffs end this year, and in the end this will as a result be the longest "bad" streak they've had in decades...literally.

I know people are high on Murray, but what else is there isn't promising. DeRozan is already on the trade block apparently, LMA is 35 and losing impact, and the rest is role players. Their best chances are: 1) a team getting desperate for DeRozan at the deadline and getting a great young talent (not sure who this would be), or 2) a draft hit (entirely possible).

Am I missing something? Other than Pop pulling a miracle out of his butt? Which I shouldn't discount.
