GT #9: Wiz @ Celtics 7:30 PM

Post#1 » by nate33 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 5:08 pm

It's seems like an eternity since the last game.

Why is it that the Wizards have played so many fewer games than everyone else? As of right now, the Wizards have played just 8 games. The Celtics have played 9 games. 21 teams have played 10 games. 7 teams have played 11 games. The Pistons have played 12 games.

I suppose the lack of games is a blessing. The alternative is watching the team get destroyed by teams like the Celtics, which is what is going to happen tonight.

Will anybody defend?
Will Beal finally shoot 50% or better in a game that doesn't involve Houston giving up 158 points?

ducler, take it away!

Might watch 1st half if this is a blow out game after 2Q im giving up on this.

Celtics without Hayward. They are 4-0 at home right now.

Also:
Daniel Theis went through shootaround and Brad Stevens says “there’s at least a chance” he will play tonight.

It has been forever since a game, almost like the All Star break.

In what I’ve seen from BOS this is truly a Brad Stevens team in that they treasure each possession like diamonds. Low turnovers, Everybody hits the boards, good communication on defense. I’m not sure they can succeed deep into playoffs but they won’t lose a lot of game they should win, like this one.

Lack of games has been beneficial in allowing the team to get more practice time in.
This is a young team that needs a lot of practice , especially with so many guys missing training camp.

Hopefully big games for IT & Rui as the focus on defense will be to stop Beal.

Beal looks lousy. I'm starting to remember all the reasons why I never liked him as a player.

I really dislike this Predict the Game gambling screen layout. Just let me watch the game on my whole tv screen please. :noway:

Should we be starting Wagner?

All that guy does is produce (...and turn the ball over from time to time).

Has anyone noticed the game becomes more exciting when Wagner checks in for Bryant? Seems like they always go on a good run

Wagner has basically doubled everyone else on the team in charges drawn per 36 (not counting Garrison Mathews). He's got a real knack for that, boding well for his overall awareness.

I was thinking that but didn’t want to jinx The MoW.

McRae is really bad. Jemerrio Jones is and was clearly better.

Came here specifically to say the same thing. It’s absolutely atrocious and ruins the viewing experience whenever it’s on.

But hey, I’m sure the 1 guy that votes is loving it.
