Really backfired on the Lakers with Kobe

Are we sure he even requested the deal? Wasn't there a story that said KP just wanted to talk to Dolan and then Mills said no way that's my man.

No lower body strength. Can't do **** with a body on him.

Second year his 3P% and FG% both went up, getting better. Since then his 3P% rose some more to 39.5% year before he got injured and 37.5% this year but his overall FG% has declined from 45% to 43.9% and this year down to 40.1%. And this is with Luka taking all the heat and not being the focal point like he was with the Knicks. The book is out. He can't do anything with a body on him. Solid shooter otherwise. Of course he's coming off a serious injury so there is likely some good room for improvement, let's see.

Interestingly his FT% has declined from 84% as a rookie in 72 games to 79% last two years to 68% this year, wtf is going on there?

Also, let's see how many games he plays this year. Hasn't played more than 66 since his rookie campaign. What would this guy look like at the end of the year if he ever made the playoffs?

I don't even know why he bothers. Face up. The only thing he has when he tries to post up is a fadeaway bank shot that's always from far out. He's so much better as a face up guy.

No need to apologies KP. Your bro saved your career getting you out of this dumpster. You're going on to win rings with Luka and we will continue to be a dumpster. Lucky!!!

Should be fun with KP getting absolutely poured with boo’s. I wanna say keep Frank on KP, but he was pretty effective on Luka. This is when I wish we had Lance Thomas because we’d easily take a Dallas.

I admit I'm not fluent in Millenial. However, I just looked up the definition: "an emotional/psychological reaction caused by something that somehow relates to an upsetting time or happening in someone's life."

Seems apt. But either way, let's make sure the Garden is not a "safe space" for him tomorrow.

(I apologize in advance if I used that term incorrectly.)

Sark posted this link in another thread.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2862270-the-porzingis-plot-inside-the-deal-that-could-haunt-the-new-york-knicks-forever

The Knicks had four coaches during Porzingis' tenure, former president Phil Jackson strongly considered trading him, and he received pushback for working with his physiotherapist, Manolo Valdivieso. New York also traded his best friend, Willy Hernangomez, and did not renew the contract of former assistant coach Josh Longstaff, who was close with Porzingis.

I understand the coaching changes and the Phil thing, though he did bring that one on himself and quite frankly Phil was right.
The rest of the stuff is straight diva trash. See ya!

KP hasn’t played or hasn’t played well since the Knicks game. I bet Dallas hopes he is able to play well soon after he pours it all out tomorrow night.

There’s obv a lot of time left this season and they need their second best player to become a consistent force after the 2 Knicks games are done.

Btw why is this so emotional? He had a big burst when he first came, and then he had a big start two seasons ago, and then he was out for 1.5 years.

Is KP some guy who ever played well for us over a long haul and led the organization back or was he just a unicorn whose horn wasn’t as big as we thought it was at first glance?

With Mills and Perry f****** up so bad, KP might just get some cheers at the Garden.

Nah b. As sick as I am of Mills/Perry/Fiz right now I still can't bring myself to show love to a switch-sider. A poser. He didn't gaf about the fans when he orchestrated his way out so why should we humble ourselves enough to be pleasant towards him?

Oh I know, I wasn't saying I would be taking part lol. I just wouldn't be surprised if some fans cheered KP just to stick it to Mills and Perry, especially with this recent sh*tstorm.

Luka is looking him off now. Would not be surprised if the situation gets really toxic.

KP lives three-quarters arc. Doncic likes to operate nearby and then toss to the corners or cutters, neither of which is a big part of KP’s shtick.

An emotional reaction would be "Omg those bastards how dare they say bad things about me". His response was completely rational.
