In your honest opinion, what do you think of him anyways as a player ?

At least he's trying to defend something for once.

Ffs. Someone is fighting for what he believes and in this case he is advocating for freedom, actual freedom and democracy and there are people out there claiming putting the ball through the net is more important.

People don't need to stand by him. Your political ideology is your own as long as it doesn't endanger others. And this forum isn't the medium to express it. But still. Your country (assuming you're American) is all about freedom and democracy (and I'm not going to comment on that) and that's where we draw the line? His claim to fame is in fact being unable to visit his home because he disagreed with the president? That statement embodies all that is wrong in modern society

Nope. Can never be tired about someone who has everything material wise, but still chooses to fight what he views as a tyrannical government. Saying you know people there who love it is no different than those Germans who said they loved their lives under the Nazi regime. Not comparing the two, but hopefully you get the point. There is nothing wrong, regardless of profession, about speaking out against what one feels is an injustice. Pretty sure he's not doing it for fame or to be "relevant".

IT4 is the man. Can’t wait to see him tomorrow. He will receive crazy standing ovation. Unlike that fraud Kyrie who just missed 8 straight shots, took 31 shots in the game. Wonder what his standing ovation will be like.

I was at the game against Denver last year when they played the video for him and he played a few minutes. Crowd went absolutely berserk for him, and it was an awesome moment.

Enes is all-in vs. Erdogan.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/11/13/enes-kanter-heres-what-trump-should-say-erdogan-white-house/?tid=sm_tw

Basketball is my passion, but I’m thankful that it also provides me with a platform that can make my life more meaningful by allowing me to speak out in support of those suffering in Turkey. The response from people in the United States and around the world has been so inspiring that this week I’ve started an online petition called “You Are My Hope,” with the goal of obtaining 1 million signatures to raise awareness of the human rights abuses in my home country.

To me this Celtic team is the REAL DEAL. The more I watch them play the more they look like the Warriors team when they started to emerge and show flashes of greatness. People don’t understand that we have legitimate 4 all stars on this team. Kemba, Hayward, Tatum and Brown are all all star caliber players in my opinion. Then you have a pitbull in Marcus Smart. Danny Ainge has done a great job drafting this summer and he gets A+ from me for how he built this team and got rid of questionable characters. Honestly not one single player on this team rubs me the wrong way like Rozier or Kyrie did. Every single player knows his role and does what he’s told to do. They pick up eachother. This is the resurrection of Ubuntu 2.0 but younger brother hood. The current crop of top players will decline. Harden, James, Curry, Westbrook, Butler, and so on will decline. Celtics in my opinion have the best young team that could become what Golden State Warriors became. You home grow players, draft well, develop, make smart decisions ...and it will pay off. I’d rather be in this situation and watch this team then have AD with bunch of scrubs because we sold the whole team to get him.

I just hope they all stay healthy and continue to defend and rebound well and continue to bond.

Had a quick look over our schedule, it seems a lot of our big games are on back 2 backs. Prepare for the “Celtics exposed” thread to get bumped.

This road trip could be a doozy. Pho is on the end of a back-to-back (at least the previous day has a mid-afternoon start). Mile High City is the 4h game in 6 nights. And with the fits the Cs gave the Warriors when the Warriors had the greater talent, I suspect Kerr of having been motivated to study the Cs as if they were major rivals, so he might try to cook something up to return the favor.

Out of curiosity I looked up those 3 last year. That GSW trio was 10-24 per game last year! So our guys are basically Curry/Klay/Durant if you average this year and last year.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Question now is if they could sustain it for a full season. I believe they can (Kemba's % might dip a bit) since the threes they take are mostly open and in rhythm. I give our bigs a bit of flak but the one thing they've been really good at so far is setting mean screens to free up Kemba. The unselfish nature of our offense this season also leads to finding the right guy at the right time/spot.

Brown and Theis are shooting well below their career averages so we hope they can wax hot at some point. Grant will hit a three sometime this century I promise. And we know Carsen can go off at any time. Our 2nd best 3-point shooter Hayward will join the party towards the end of the year.

How long are the league casuals going to continue pretending that Kemba isn’t an MVP candidate?
