Yeah, most Grizz fans are hoping we can convey our pick to Boston this year. Rather have a late lottery pick in 2021.

it's such a terrible year to tank tbh, last year we had Zion next year we have a bunch of elite wings it looks like, but this year not a lot of top tier talent and the top tier talent is at positions we don't need

for me, I want to trade down grab an extra pick and take a combination of Lewis/Haliburton, but a lot depends on where we are in the draft and which prospects drop/fall...

Ya this would be the year to trade down, its a crappy year to tank. If there was a guy I would like them to pick say 5-10, Jaden McDaniels wouldn't bother me. But I do think trading down or trading it for a legit player would be the smarter move.

what are your thoughts on J-Mac btw? I know potential is there but there have been motor questions before. Seems to be a common story with talent sans motor in prospects. Any of that scare you with him?

Honestly not a huge fan. But I wouldn't be against them taking a flyer on him. But ideally to me they would use the pick in a trade with say Russell to get someone ready to play for a final window with the original crew.

Nnaji looks the part as a NBA player but not sure if he looks like a super valuable one, he is nice offensive big, like a poor man's Bagley kinda, it's good to have a high floor but I am not seeing it in terms of value, kinda like with Dwight Powell, nice player but you are not picking him high ever

late 1st maybe

I don't see anyway Hurt goes 1st round. Hell not even sure I see him getting drafted this year.

Horrible defender
As bad of an athlete as there is
Bad rebounder
No handle

Pretty much the only thing he brings to the table is being a 6'8 PF that is a set shot 3pt shooter. He literally doesn't jump when he shoots.

I think Duke's recruiting class is filled with really good college basketball players, but not legit NBA talent.

He's the complete package when he has that jumper working. Tre with a 3pt shot is the ideal PG to play with a ball dominant star.

Lock down defense, unbelievably reliable with the ball in his hands, so he can be your secondary ball handler behind your star player. Just needs that 3pt shot down to be the ideal fit.

I thought he’d be better than he is right now

But the concept of a player is there, he’s a great shooter and decent decision maker

But athletically he’s got a meh frame and definitely weak. I think he can move okay but I don’t know if that will hold if he bulks up

The season is young and it depends on the rest of the class but you’re right that if he continues like this he probably doesn’t declare this year

This class is just very raw, it's a rough year to draft difficult to really get a read on a bunch of guys, I hope they stay put and strengthen 2021, but some will unequivocally leave early

Trading down is a good option for GSW, especially if they can pick up a 2021 FRP.

I think Josh Green would be a good fit for GSW. Could play next to Klay or back him up. Problem is he is still a bit raw and I imagine GSW want to reload asap.

Yeah, I'd highly recommend trading down or out for GS (a bit depending on where they end up). They need depth and I don't see the top of this class being a good fit with them on top of it not being a particularly impressive class overall. Really really don't like the wings this season (their main need).

Also, officially love Oscar.

Precious is insanely raw, which is good in some capacity but bad in another considering he's already 20

and the 6-16 from the FT line today is not good

Make that 8-20 now. A game like today isn't really surprising though. Physically Alcorn State cant match up with him. I think he is an even rawer version of Alex Poythress from a few years ago. That doesn't scream OAD or legit NBA prospect to me at the moment.
