Sox fan here. Good to see this happen to him. I've always liked him as a player and actually would feel some sympathy for him for the way he was treated by fans and other players. It is unfortunate that there are some Yankee fans out there that just don't give him the credit he deserves and places any blame at all on him for them not having won a championship since he has been wearing pinstripes.

Out of curiousity, what do you guys think this will do for the boobirds in NY?

It will hold them off for a week or so.

But to the boobirds it will come down to October and if he produces then.

lol i posted my response in the wrong thread. So i will post what i had in the other thread here

A-ROD IS THE MF"N MAN

I dont want to boo A-Rod.I hope he does well so he can shut those Yankee fans that continue to boo him and today was perfect.Yanks down 7-6 with the bases loaded with 2 outs and he hits a grandslam all the way to the black seats in centerfield

What a game.I feel really happy for A-Rod and finally people can get off his damn back

I hope this buys ARod some peace for a while. It's a damn shame how maligned he's been.

Thank you A-Rod!

The starting pitching was once again a mess. I'm not feeling too good about it right now. Hopefully we'll be seeing Hughes up here soon.
