Thing that Warriors won't move at any cost- pick.

You guys have to understand that Warriors had to trade FOR Russell to keep his rights so they can get over a cap to sign him. They don't have salary cap, with $100 000 000 in books for Curry, Klay and Green alone, they have to ADD PLAYERS THAT HAVE LONG TERM CONTRACTS SIGNED or players they have rights on ( restricted free agents) in any potential trade for D'angelo.

I saw lot of suggestions that Pistons could offer 1 on1 - Drummond for Russell trade.

Warriors next year will get their stars back so there is legit chance that they don't do anything this year and just wait. And that's probably most objective scenario,as they are tanking now.

Plus they traded Iggy away + a 1st round pick to make room for him. They probably want a 1st back too

At least 2020 pick is top 20 protected.
But in general Warriors will make move that benefits them long and short term and that player(s) have to be at least as good as D'angelo. That's probably 2 above average role players OR one marginal allstar, or perfect fit ( Otto Porter ?) or combination of cap relief + good asset ( Jeff Teague + Robert Covington + pick).

Gordon + DJ Augustin for D'angelo is in my opinion, fair trade for both sides.

But just as easly i can see Warriors doing Steven Adams or Drummond trade and change playing stlye into slower pace to fit Curry and Klay better as they both are older now. In half court having Adams setting picks, and Green around glass, along with Curry and Klay and whoever they get at SF is still pretty brutal team.

Maybe Gordon + Augustine + Birch, Augustine is only valuable if he agrees to sign a cheap deal (he might to contend) and Birch is a solid backup, their current bigs have question marks against them. Gordon gives them an athlete forward who can guard the other teams best players. Since they lost Iggy they lost that, and I think even with Adams or Drummond, the defence would struggle not having that wing defender.

From HoopsRumors:
Multiple teams are monitoring Magic forward Aaron Gordon and would have interest if he becomes available, league sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic. However, according to Charania, Orlando has shown no interest in trading Gordon.

The fourth overall pick in the 2014 draft, Gordon has flashed tantalizing potential as a two-way impact player and is still just 24 years old. He’s also on a team-friendly contract, which is worth $19.86MM this season and declines all the way to $16.41MM in 2021/22. As such, it makes sense that he’d generate interest around the league and that the Magic wouldn’t want to move on from him, despite the fact that he hasn’t necessarily put it all together yet.

I'd love him on Dallas next to Zinger and catching lobs from Luka. But the best we can is Lee's expiring + Jalen Brunson + Justin jackson

I like Gordon but there are many things that we need to think about:

*Gordon is a California guy and he never hide that he d love to play in California so i wouldn't be surprised if he leaves us once his contract is over

*Evan will opt out this summer so trading Gordon for a SG will allow us to not overpay Evan this summer

So evan if i m not a big fan of d angelo russel i think i would do Gordon+DJ for Russell

Spoiler:
:D :D Russell has a 6-foot-9 wingspan :D :D

Starting line up

PG: Fultz,russell,MCW
SG:Russell,Evan,Ross
SF:Evan,isaac,iwundu, (okeke in future)
PF:ISaac,chief,Birch,Amile
C:Vuc,Mo,Birch

Plenty line up possible

Fultz,russell,Evan,Isaac,Vuc
Russell,Evan,isaac,chief,vuc
Fultzl,Evan,isaac,chief,vuc

Then this summer when Evan opt out we can let him go and build around

Fultz
Russell
Okeke
ISaac/Chief
Vuc/Mo
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,
P5, JI, Panda
Wcj, Goga, Moe

I could definitely be wrong but it seems like the only person I've heard say this is you on this board a bunch of times.

Isaac is the only guy we've drafted that I worried about wanting to be here, and that worry only lasted like 24 hours, and it was because of his interview right after he was drafted.

So how are people reading that report that the magic have shown no interest to trade AG? Is this us trying to get these teams to up any offers, or teams letting the magic know they are willing to help with our search for scoring if AG is available, or is this just what it says lol?
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

Just a shooting slump mostly.

All his other stats - rebounding, passing, defense - are all pretty much the same as they were last year. He's just missing more jump shots outside of 15 feet.

Gordon was never going to have a Blake Griffin type stats jump across the board because he was never going to see the usage spike that Griffin did when he went to Detroit. Griffin's a 30% usage player now. Gordon's under 21% this year.

One positive development is that his FT rate has jumped from 24% to 32% which is approaching a career high.
