This is funny because my favorite obradovic outburst came because sarunas was half assing it in games. :D

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

Saras at that time was probably half washed-up
Saras by the way sometimes (even in his younger days) was making was stupid decisions.... And still screaming at his teammates and even his coaches as if it was their fault...

Other than that it is funny how much Saras now is emphasising defence (and usually screaming at players because of that) while he himself was far from a good defender.

Correct, and even though we say that there are no superstars in Euroleague as there are in NBA, the guy who is screamed at in this video is probably a TOP 5 center in Europe today.

Obra was as well saying FU not to some rookies, but to some of guys who are well respected players in Europe.

So some coaches in Europe are "screaming" at stars (Europe-wise). These guys are not some rookies - they can get solid contracts in serious European Clubs.

I know man, I'm a Serb. There's a legendary presser after we shat over ourselves in EURO 2005 played in Serbia, where expectations were sky high only to die in the group stage. He basically slammed his players not for their abilities but because of the attitude, internal relationships and beefs, especially criticizing young player and guess who was the youngest great talent back then - that's right, it was Darko.

They cared about taking the last shot, didn't talk to each other, didn't play defense, weren't going back after not receiving a pass... Hilarious stuff, it's 36 minutes long and I'm so sorry there's no English subtitles.

Well, Darko is a special case.
And I feel for you guys as you probably have the love for the game and the best basketball school in Europe which can only be rivalled by Lithuania (but we're a much smaller country with less of talent pool). And sometimes yes - you tend to underachieve...

Obra probably was just piss** by the way they play as they were playing sh***y for the whole year. This wasn't only in regards to this particular game and therefore he exploded.

Yeah, we had more than a few bad years after 2002. Generation change, coaching roller-coaster etc. This year was a massive ****, 5th place is not what we even thought about before the WC. We got to host Olympics qualifications tournament next year so we'll see. I just hope that Jokic will stop being a fat child with unpredictable behavior and start leading the national team.

I felt so sorry when the refs killed you against France!

Which one exactly? :D

I watched this one so many times - PAO won, but he still had to go nuts at the presser. And the translator and her expressions make it even funnier.

dis iz džouk bre!

4:08 - I'm dying every time

And PAO did win the Euroleague a few months later

Funny moment, but embarassing so many posters her think screaming like that is a sign of good coaching. And even more embarassing that they criticize players for not wanting to put up with that ****

Good coaching is then coach knows when is time to scream and when it's time to talk softly

you can be a great coach and never scream like that.

thats what gets me about these comments. Bunch of people who dont know anything about this coach except he cussed out his players and we got ton of comments about how we need coaches like that
